I have been going there the last 4 years for my Christmas trees. Selection is okay, and they have a few animals for the kids to pet. The lines are long, but move quickly. Total time to arrive and get a tree is about 90 minutes. I purchased the spike tree stand from them on my first visit, and it makes setup of the tree amazingly simple. To use this stand they have a machine that drills a hole in the bottom of the tree. Unfortunately they have the machine sitting on unlevel ground at the corner of the red barn this year. They also have poor employee education as to how this machine must be operated. When I got home my hole was less than 2" deep into the bottom of the tree, and crooked. I made the hole a little deeper so the tree would at least stay on the stand, but it is frustrating. After spending over $150 at Dull's yesterday (and using their expensive stand bought a previous year) I have a crooked tree. I walked, I cut down the tree, I carted the tree, the only thing they had to do was drill the hole in the bottom and they messed it up. Unfortunately this is unacceptable, and I'll be finding somewhere else from now on. I know it seems like a minor mess up, but it is huge when it comes to a tree. There is no easy solution to this problem without their machine. The odds of an individual drilling a straight hole in the bottom of a tree...
Read moreWas a fun place. Went there for the adult Easter egg hunt. However, tbh: I was a bit disappointed about the rewards. I was expecting each egg to be filled with goodies and candy. We were limited 8 eggs per group for the entire hunt besides the special 10 eggs with gift certificates. No one, and I mean no one wore a mask, not counting a meer 75% of the employees. Not even indoors. Absolutely no 6ft rule was reinforced whatsoever. Maybe 2 ft.There were at least over a hundred fifty ppl there so it was a very slim chance to find those 10 eggs. Which were well hidden, I give them that. I believe only 4 out of the 10 were found. The eggs unfortunately only had a slip of paper to solve a word puzzle. We each got a thermal cup as a reward for solving the word. No candy or goodies :( almost felt empty handed. The dinner was alright. The dessert was literally one spoonful of ice cream on a waffle cookie. Not 1 scoop btw, a SPOONful, just enough to fill the rim of my spoon. Was tasty but they really shorted me on the ice cream scoop :( I wish it was at least 2 spoonfuls. It was a good idea on paper though. All in all, my group managed to have some laughs because the gigantic slide there...
Read moreWe have been going there for four plus years and each of the past years was terrific until this year. This year they changed their tree pick up plan and it was an utter failure. Gone is all the wonderful efficiency of Dull's Tree Farm that we learned to know and love. Now, you lug your tree up to the "barn"; try to tell them how you want your tree trimmed (if they listen) and then you wait for an occasional golf cart to help you cart your tree out to your car and hope someone is there to help tie the tree to the roof. The whole experience took over 1 1/2 hours longer than previous years. I had to ask a few times for additional trimming of the tree and still had to cut off 12+ branches when I got home. We were sooo disappointed. The changes only added to the labor for the customers and opened their area around their barn. We didn't mind the prior longer waits in our vehicle waiting to pick up the tree and have it tied to the roof. Now it was wait outside in the rain for your tree and carry it to the parking lot across the road to your vehicle. Why add to the labor of the customers? We no longer recommend Dulls. We would award NO STARS if Google...
