Montrose Campground — Hotel in Franklin Township

Our first time camping here with our 'new to us' camper and we had hot water issues. The owner was very helpful and came by to help diagnose the problem. He explained what we were doing wrong and we had hot water in no time! The second time camping here with another 'new to us' camper and we turned on our kitchen faucet to find the sprayer had cracked from improper winterizing. The owner came to our rescue AGAIN with a used sprayer and even installed it for us! The sites are HUGE and each have a nice picnic table and fire ring. The campground is kid-friendly and has a great playground, pool, and even mini-golf. A nice nature trail takes you to a quiet pond for fishing. The store is stocked with necessities and they have plenty of camper specific items as well. Very clean campground and facilities. SO pretty when the leaves are changing since they are nestled in and surrounded by color! Highly recommend this family owned campground. Bob and Tammy are fantastic hosts. Huge bonus is that they also have an RV service onsite and can do just about any type of work to your RV. We ended up with a flat - Bob and team to the rescue! They also got ahold of a VERY reputable tire place in town that was able to get us taken care of on a Saturday. Would not hesitate to schedule service and make a trip up here for them to accomplish the work. They also have an extremely well stocked camp store. Great campground, been here a week and love it. Full hookups, decent rates, $0.15 per kwh electric (Oct 2016), Coin laundry on site. Propane filling on site. Campground store has some food and lots of RV parts. Owner does RV technician & camper repair, can order any parts you need and have it in 1-3 days.
