Embassy Motel — Hotel in Franklin

I will not come to this place, nor my parents. They refused service for my mother and father. They wanted a room for two. At this time they had their grandchildren. MY children in the car with their grandma, because my husband and I went to the races for a date and would be home at a later time. But because the owner saw the kids, they refused my parents. As my father proceeded to let her know they were his grandchildren, she said he was lying and that they were his. They were refused only because they had problems with other people, which is understandable to a point. When I made a phone call to ensure the owner that my children were with their grandparents because we were at the races on a date, she was rude about it. I took the time to make a phone call. I was being polite as possible, unfortunately she did not let me have a word in. She told me they could go back and book the room when the kids were not with them. I told her what would make the point when they wanted the room right away so they could just go straight to their room to sleep instead of having to go through and wait to book the room and hope the room was still vacant. She still was rude about it. If you are having problems with your business because of people and their children then maybe you should say something at that time and if they refuse, call the police. Great price for a night or a week on 27th st I would even stay at. Before coming here I viewed several places on 27th and by far the nicest. Front desk greeting to showing of the room before hand ect was overall excellent service immediately and continued throughout the entire stay. Polite and responsive staff at almost any time. No drama, druggie types or prostitution and if caught owner immediately removes these unwanted guests. Rooms are very clean. Cable, wifi, on demand and cell service!Only 4 stars because of some outdated furniture however I noticed they are remodeling rooms. Stay is very comfortable, nice surroundings, nice people and the Owners are great people. Absolutely recommend. Easy freeway access to downtown Milwaukee, Racine/Kenosha and Waukesha County. I stayed here for a week and like the other Mom & Pop motels clustered nearby on South 27th Street, it's really cheap. I only paid $280 for a 7-night stay. Place is very quiet at night. Room itself was clean with a queen bed. Cable TV and WiFi worked every night I was there. Mini-fridge was actually too good and froze all my beverages. Large clothing rack to hang all your clothes. Shower had warm water. A/C worked very good and cooled the room down lickety-split. The only downside was that a couple nights it got cold and there is the old-fashioned baseboard heating that you need to turn a knob by the floor. It's kinda clunky. No ice machine so be prepared.
