Jellystone Park - Cochran, GA — Hotel in Frazier

We stayed at Jellystone Park in Cochran, Georgia from May 23rd to May 26th at a full hookup RV site. This is a family-friendly campground that was recently purchased by Jellystone about a year ago, and you can already tell they’re making great improvements.

Themed around Yogi Bear, the campground features all the charm and fun you'd expect. The gift shop is very well stocked with Yogi Bear merchandise, and there are several arcade games for kids to enjoy. During our stay, Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, and Cindy Bear made multiple appearances, which was a huge hit with the children!

They’ve done a great job enhancing the property—clearing undergrowth around the pond, adding a gem mining station, a bounce house, and a bounce pad. Around the pool area, new chairs and umbrellas have been added, giving it a fresh and welcoming look. The pool itself is on the smaller side and did get a bit crowded at times, but it was still a nice place to relax.

The campground has also started offering simple activities like rock painting, tie-dye shirt making, and s’mores nights, which are great for keeping kids entertained. It’s clear they are putting effort into creating a more interactive experience, though bringing in some younger staff focused on public relations and event promotion could really help elevate participation and energy.

We noticed what looked like brand-new cabins being installed at the front of the park, and when we spoke with the staff, they mentioned plans for a new water feature—though details weren’t confirmed yet. It’s exciting to see their commitment to continuous development.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Walmart is conveniently located just 10 minutes away for any essentials.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and are excited to see how the campground continues to grow. I would definitely recommend Jellystone Cochran to friends and family looking for a fun, relaxing, and family-oriented...

For years as a former resident from cochran ga my hometown I’ve enjoyed the peace and quietness and very satisfied how the park is well kept up and the rules that do apply here I would definitely come back again for longer stay and multiple trips here

Back for another review !

I returned for a Father’s Day weekend and I was very satisfied with the staff here as this is my second time staying here , I approve of this campground , clean showers and clean bathrooms !

I will be returning back again

Adding to my next review April 6, 2024 review we had another blast and love the new name change ! And looking forward to more adventures ! Tina and the crew there were amazing thanks to the new owners that are making it happen and we will definitely be back

Another great weekend at Jellystone Park - Cochran, GA , even though the rain was still on and off we still enjoyed it !!! This is becoming a habit for sure 👍

My favorite part of the weekend was when I was determined to catch a fish 🎣 but got soaked this time but hey still had a blast!!!

Also with the rain it helped get some very peaceful rest can’t wait for another weekend out here once again staff are very friendly and bring your kids for there fun activities out here let’s help them continue to grow...
