We stayed in the #2 cabin. All cabins are on the same small loop but it's very quiet and each has privacy because of the way they positioned them. We didn't look in depth at the other sites but I feel like cabin #2 might be the most private. Location is very quiet even though it's not far off the road. You can hear lots of birds. Very peaceful. Each cabin has a designated parking spot. Loop is gravel but very level. Should have no issues even in a small car. To get to cabin 2, you walk down a gravel walkway and down a few steps. Door has a keypad to unlock it. Kitchen is small but big enough to cook a full meal. It included fridge, pots, pans, utensils, cups, coffee, dish soap, coffee maker, microwave, 2 burner gas range, Olive oil, S&P and much more. There's dining table with 3 chairs. Living room has a coach, blanket, games, books and a record player with some records. Record player also has Bluetooth capabilities if you want to play your own playlist. Bathroom has a heated floor (so nice!), toilet, shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a double vanity. Towels, wash rags and hairdryer also included. There's a door that leads down a flight of stairs to the outside area that's actually under the cabin. It has a large swing (seems like a double mattress size, it's huge!), trough bathtub and citronella candles. Area has pavers so you aren't walking on dirt. There are logs positioned to partially enclosed the area and provide privacy. I couldn't see the other cabins from this area. On the main level inside the cabin there's also futon swing in the corner facing the windows. Windows are floor to ceiling so views are great. Curtains in place to close for lower level. Up the spiral staircase is the loft area with the bed. There's a bench we used for our suitcase, 2 robes and 2 night stands. There's outlets by nightstands. Though loft is at the top of the A-frame, you can still stand without issues through most of it. There's no TV in this cabin but they do have wifi. Cell reception was good. It's about 10 minutes from main shopping area in Fredericksburg. Enchanted Rock State Park isn't too far either. I would highly recommend this cabin! I really appreciated the peaceful surroundings, attention to detail with providing everything you'd need and close location to activities. If you're looking for a relaxing romantic getaway, this...
Read moreWe spent 3 nights at Blue Sage #4 The Half Arch Hideaway and it was Amazing!
The magical walkway that lights up at night was leading from the parking to the entry door added a mystical magical touch.
Once inside you experience luxurious accommodations. The back side of this treehouse is a wall of windows. The view is awesome and very serene. The kitchen was really cute with a nostalgic refrigerator freezer which was very nice to have.
The kitchen was well equipped so we bought groceries from HEB ( less than 15 mins away) and cooked all of our meals while we stayed in and relaxed.
They don't have a TV but, we brought our own 19in because they have wifi so we stayed entertained with a our firestick, playing cards and listening to music. They have a old fashioned record player and some vinyl records.
The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed that seemed larger and the bed linen was super comfy. The view from the floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom made the view very engaging all of the time.
The bathroom had heated floor and since the nights were in the low 50's and the days didn't get over 60 we enjoyed that warm bathroom floor.
There is a loft with a built-in comfy daybed and a huge window with an awesome view.
They had a nice deep soaking tub outside on the upstairs privacy deck but, we didn't use it because of the cool weather. They do have a heater that blow hot air up there. We sat up there at night and they had lights that made it cozy.
There is much more to this wonderful place that I could write but, I hope you come and check it out for yourself because...
Read moreI can not say enough good about this place. We stayed only one night and it was not long enough to explore all of the little decore gems hidden around this luxury oasis in the woods. From the heated bathroom floor to the loft bedroom with the never ending views it was dripping with ways to pamper yourself. My wife and I loved it and will be coming back, if nothing else, for the majestic sunrise over the rolling Hill Country that stretches for miles just off the back patio. One cup of coffee viewing that heavenly overlook was worth the stay alone. The perfect distance from Fredericksburg, this hidden gem checks all of the boxes for a perfect romantic getaway. The local family that owns this rental also left a wonderful homemade guide to the for wineries, dining and whatever you need for a fantastic time in the area. It was such a helpful tool to be able to plan a memorable weekend trip. I wish we had longer to explore, but we will be back. I have no choice, my wife is hooked (Me...
