City on a Hill at Spring Creek — Hotel in Fredericksburg

Husband and I spend months planing a romantic getaway for our 10th year anniversary . I seen the new Love theme cabin and knew it was going to be perfect for us. The day of the staying we weren’t able to get in the Love cabin with the door code text message we received that day . Husband called to notify what was going on and that’s when we found out they switched our cabin last minute to the Grace Place cabin which is a beautiful country/cowboy theme not taking anything away from that is the reason why I will leave 2 star rating and The reason why they “switched our cabin last minute was because the hot tub is newer on the grace place cabin”.I just wish they could have notify us days/ weeks In advance to book else where since it was for a very special occasion. Then later on that night my husband and I were outside our cabin and seen a couple arrive at the Love cabin! I felt let down. That is so wrong to have your cabin switched and then see some one else able to stay in the cabin you payed and booked to stay In that day . I just felt like Is very important to leave a review I really don’t want that to happen to...

We had a wonderful stay at City on the Hill at Spring Creek. Our cabin, Victory, was charming. It was well stocked with coffee maker, coffee pods, dishes, glasses including wine glasses, and much more. I looked at the photos and checked Trip Advisor and other sites to see reviews. The reviews were glowing and very well deserved. Our cabin was exactly as pictured. Everything was very clean and set up for our stay. The bed was very comfortable. To our surprise there was a sauna room. The property is so pretty and very relaxing. There are adorable ponies and cows that we saw grazing from our porch. During a morning walk we saw beautiful deer and birds. If you are in Fredericksburg and looking for a fantastic place to stay, I would recommend City on a Hill . We were there for two nights and wished we stayed a third. I would highly recommend City on a Hill at...
