Contigo Ranch Fredericksburg — Hotel in Fredericksburg

It’s been over 2 wks since my stay. My child was locked in cabin not once but twice due to defective entry with door code and locks in bathroom. Not safe! Our entire stay we had to shower with the door wide open due to issues. This situation was alarming as it is but could have been much worse as my child is still small!! I have given ample time for someone from ranch to reach out and make this right and nothing has come from it. Stay was pricey and made me feel like they just want your money. They do nothing to own mistakes or offer any sort of resolution because they do not care! I was told to submit issues to info email on website in detail as I did and nothing still. I am the only one making countless calls to get someone on the phone to discuss and you just get the machine. I was also moved to another cabin due to one I reserved needing repairs…I now wonder why this one needed repairs! I didn’t even get to enjoy my stay. I was told a GM would reach out and they have not. If you notice other poor reviews do not show resolution or apologies. In fact no reply just like I’m getting. Very disappointing contigo! Poor customer service I pray owner sees this. I rarely get vacation and this is what I got. A/c isn’t great either. I would like someone to reach out and make this right asap. I work in service and people would be without a job with this kind of terrible service. We recently stayed at the beautiful Contigo Ranch (5/6/25) at cabin #3. If you’re looking for some beautiful landscape, some peace and quiet, look no further. This place is beautiful, it kind of makes you feel like you’re somewhere in Italy. The cabin is spacious, clean and well decorated, however there were a few things that stopped us from giving it a 5 star rating. The living room could use a sofa in addition to the two chairs and a coffee table. The coffee bar only had sugar available. Stevia would have been nice. There was no side table on the side of the bed I slept on. Also a bigger TV would fit the space better (living room), and a TV in the bedroom would have been amazing! (We usually watch a bit of TV before bed. Again, we are picky but these are things that are important to us. Regardless, we truly enjoyed our stay and would come back to this...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We got there around 8 pm, after spending a nice day at the vineyards and town, and then we found out that we needed a code to enter the room, which we did not have and never received from the property! There is no reception, almost no signal, we tried to call the website phone number and no one was picking up, there is only a voice message asking you to send an email (!!!) with your question. After 2 hours trying to contact someone to get the code without success, we went back to town (almost 30 min drive) to try to found another hotel to spend the night. I’ve never seen a place with NO ASSISTANCE at all to the guests. When they finally replied my email, and I asked for reimbursement of the amount, they said that they would pass the information to the manager on Monday. It was my birthday and was very upsetting.
