Sadly my experiences with this place has taken a turn for the worst. My wife and I were wine club members here until Dec 2022 when we terminated our membership with the owners consent without their usual penalty for early termination since were going to be away for 3 or 4 months and could not pick up wine nor enjoy the free glasses of wine that would have been available to us (as wine club members) during those months. On our travels we were surprised to learn the owners did not terminate our wine club membership and continued to charge my credit card the monthly fee. That happened in January (not other months because due to an unrelated issue my card number was changed, although we continued to get bills for those months) and we of course were gone and could not pick up the wine nor enjoy our free glasses of wine in January. Yesterday we stopped by for our paid for bottle of wine and our paid for glasses of wine and to remind them that our membership should have been stopped at the end of Dec which they acknowledged was an error. They gave us our bottle of wine but refused to give us free of charge our glasses of wine that were poured for us on our arrival and instead demanded we pay for them, which we did. They said their policy is they do not roll forward unused free glasses of wine to future months. I guess that policy even is applied when their screw-up caused the problem in the first place. Eden Try is also a wedding venue so I hope newlyweds are not treated so badly when there...
Read moreWent to the Mulled Wine Festival today. The place is beautiful and the wine was good but the winery and staff are not very good at handling the crowd. The line to order a flight of wine was 40 minutes long and then another 15 minutes for them to give it to you . The workers are working in a very small area to fill the glasses . They are running into each other and walking around each other to fill orders . Once the order is taken from the counter they place the card on a table and other orders kept getting put on top of it . Very disorganized and not run well at all. If you can’t handle the crowd you should sell tickets and limit the number of people to come. This was my first time at your winery . I would probably come back there to give you another try but definitely not for an event . I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and think maybe you did expect this crowed but after talking to others they said that they had been there before and it was the same disorganization. Also one of your workers was quite rude when I told him the wait was ridiculous he said “what do you expect look at the line “ … exactly look at the line … do better and learn how to run your business to handle...
Read moreWe visited Eden Try Winery yesterday afternoon, and we couldn't have picked a better day for it. They offered ample outdoor seating in the shade, and it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. Although their selection of wines is smaller (They carry 7 at the moment; 3 whites, 3 reds, and their sangria), we were astounded at their knowledge of wine making and of their own wines. The owners take a lot of pride in their craft, and were hands on in presenting their wines. This isn't the type of winery where you are poured a flight for a tasting and then are left alone; each wine is poured directly from the bottle by an owner while they delve into their passion for wine making. It makes for a great experience and we were very impressed. Although most of the wines on the website were listed as being "off-dry", we found that there was definitely something for everyone. We recommend doing the full tasting, it's a great value and will give you a chance to taste all they have to offer before commiting to a full glass or bottle. Overall, the experience was great, the wine was outstanding, and we highly recommend...
