Cut my foot on broken glass by the fire pit (wearing flip flops). Beer cans in the fire pit.
Aside from the obvious issue of litter, because people don't know how to take care of places anymore, this was by far the NOISEST camp ground I have ever stayed. There was a huge cornhole tournament that was going on. There was no notice anywhere when we booked or when we got there. There was partying until 1 or 2 am with blaring music the first night. Our neighbor was watching TV outside and with sites not more than 15 ft space between, I could heat every word. No one abiding by or enforcing the 10pm quite time. There was a loud speaker announcing the corn hole tournament for the entire next day as well as music through a speaker system. I couldn't take it any more and we left.
The fishing and scenery is nice, but this was one of the worst camping...
Read moreWas very disappointed, got to site lots of garbage was left from prior camper...took us 40min to pick up trash......dogs are suppose to be leashed. Had the neighbors dog walk over to our site, another dog up the street running loose, one across the lake as well.....never met the hosts of the park.....I grew up in Fremont...it was 4yrs ago I left...took my grandson to fish in the lakes as I remember as beautiful........hope the hosts and all the workers do a better job, need to enforce the rules, or why...
Read moreFire pits are in awkward spots.. some sites much better than others. Make reservations if possible. We stayed in spot 54, had great shade and was near a swing set for the kids, and wasn't too far from a bathroom with showers, there were 2 parking areas very near by, we had someone else's vehicle basically parked right in our camp site. Overall it was beautiful and worth the trip to see a new set of lakes...
