Stayed here for one night while I was doing research for a hiking guide on haunted hikes in New England. I could not have asked for a better place to stay! Not only is it in Friendship, ME (where Casper is set) but it was centrally located for a few of the hikes I had to check off my list.
Location aside, the house itself is impeccable and perfect for a family reunion or a friend retreat. There are TWO kitchens and plenty of communal space to hang out. There's also an entire barn with recreational activities and a gym. Plus, if you want some private space, there's also a boatload of nooks and crannies to get some peace and quiet.
Bedrooms are all great and super comfy mattresses. Air conditioners are in most windows on the upper floor for hot summers and heating works great. There are so many cute and ornate items throughout the house that you can tell the owners put a lot of effort into making this an experience not just a place to rest your head.
I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to head to Acadia National Park or hang around midcoast Maine. Great for families wanting to vacation together or a couple of friends wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. Would...
Read moreThere are not enough stars to rate Mia and Three Sisters Farm! We visited during the summer, but would love to return for a fall and winter stay, too! Our summer stay was everything we dreamed of in a vacation and more. Mia was the BEST HOST EVER! She was extremely responsive, helpful and invested in our vacation. We had high expectations going into our vacation and Mia's place exceeded them all! Our whole family was in love with the property. We were so impressed with the attention to detail with regards to decor, appliances, available activities and special touches. We spent many of our days exploring Mid Coast Maine. Mia has a great guest handbook and we visited many of the places she recommended. But some of our favorite activities were right at the farm, loading the kayaks and paddleboards onto the pull cart and walking down to the water for an afternoon of fun! Then coming home and fighting each other for the outdoor shower, choosing which kitchen to use to make dinner, and spending family time together. This by far was our family's favorite vacation yet!...
Read moreWe had the most wonderful long weekend at Three Sisters Farm in the spring! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the peaceful surroundings and the charming, rustic atmosphere. I cried happy tears when we pulled into the driveway, knowing we had chosen the right place for our getaway. The farm was the perfect retreat for our family—so much space for our young kids to explore and enjoy nature, we even got to go clamming for the first time! Mia was warm and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was always available to answer my questions, like "can I take this clam home to eat?" It rained for most of our stay, but that didn't stop us from exploring and having fun! Three Sisters Farm will easily be the place that we return to year after year, making lifelong memories. It's been a few months since our stay and our kids still talk about "the holiday house" and ask when we'll be going back. Walking into this house truly felt like home, and we cannot wait to return. Thank you, Mia, for sharing your special...
