I wish we could rate 100 stars! We are sincerely thankful and appreciate the high quality, efficient services offered by Cristal, Tye, Emily, and Yvonne! We can't express how amazingly well our fall wedding weekend was at Towering Oaks!

AirBnB/Pre-visit: My daughter, wife, and I rented out the Fort Worth room after booking our wedding weekend as a trial run. Lovey space, well kept with many room details, and it was wonderful seeing first hand how our family guests would be treated (like royalty)! Our southern style breakfast was perfect and available as we went downstairs in the morning.

Lodging: My wife and I rented the site out for Friday-Monday. Towering Oaks housed 23 of our family members for the weekend, and included breakfast everyday for our guests (side note: they also accommodated our 40 additional locally housed family members for a reasonable fee for breakfast). The rooms, living space and outdoor area were well equipped with all the items we needed such as earplugs in the rooms, fireplace ready, coffee & tea stations, and many details that were personalized touches to really make you feel like home. The newly built red oak lodge also echoed the same quality space.

Coordination & Vendor Management: Leading up to our wedding weekend we were frequently communicated with, we booked over a year in advance and always felt in the know. Their coordination services coupled with our day-of event planner made for a seamless weekend. One of our outside vendors fell through last minute and they saved the day by referring to us two additional vendors for same day transportation services! THANK YOU!

Activities: There was a lake outside in the backyard that our family loved fishing in. Towering Oaks provided fishing poles and tackle box. It was around 30-40 degrees throughout the weekend so we only used the hot tub. We look forward to returning for a day in summer to swim in the large pool. We brought a cornhole game out (even though they had one onsite) and played music while keeping warm by the outdoor warmers. In the evening, we selected a movie night, hot chocolate, and smores package for the back patio area. A large pool table in front of a flat screen TV in the living room accommodated our football fans on Sunday. There is a piano in the living room that we hired a pianist for on Sunday after breakfast.

High-quality customer service: Cristal, Tye, Emily, and Yvonne were extremely personable and offered the best customer service experience most of our guests including ourselves have ever had. We enjoyed their services, conversations, and positive energy throughout the weekend. They mentioned some exciting new property happenings in the coming year and we look forward to coming back. If you're looking to host a wedding weekend, an event or just getting away for a day you found the perfect place. We organize/coordinate many events professionally and personally and have yet to match this amazing venue and its services. We highly recommend staying at this unique gem of a venue! I cannot say enough amazing things about this home and the incredible team behind it! Tye, Michael, Lana, and Kathy went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such care, hospitality, and warmth — it truly felt like a dream come to life.

First of all, the property itself is stunning — the photos honestly don't do it justice. The charm, the peaceful surroundings, the attention to detail in every corner of the home and grounds… I was completely blown away when I saw it all in person for the first time. We stayed on-site for four days and three nights, and every single moment felt magical.

Each morning, Kathy prepared the most delicious breakfasts for us, and she was such a joy to be around — always ready to help with anything we needed. Lana, our coordinator, was absolutely phenomenal. She was organized, calm, and always one step ahead, making sure everything flowed effortlessly. Our rehearsal dinner was held at the reception space, and the team took care of everything — decorating, organizing, coordinating — it was seamless and beautiful.

Tye and Michael, the owners, have created something truly special here. Their hospitality, thoughtfulness, and genuine love for what they do shined through in every detail. It’s not just a venue — it’s an experience, and one that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.

I booked a room here on April 24, 2018 through booking.com. The reservation was for October 13, 2018 because I planned on staying here after a friend's wedding. When I booked, I received an email that stated my payment would be handled by Towering Oaks Haven and I received a confirmation number. I never got any follow up email regarding payment and thought that was strange, so around July of 2018, I tried calling the B&B to confirm that I actually had a room booked so I wouldn't end up without a room when October 13th came around. I called several times but was never able to speak with anyone. On September 7, 2018, I called and left a voicemail explaining my situation and asked for someone to call me back to confirm my reservation. No one ever called me back. I finally made contact with a woman today who checked her calendar and informed me that I did not have a room booked here. I told her I had a confirmation number from booking.com and she said "well it shouldn't have let you book because we're full that weekend, maybe that's why it didn't ask you to pay." She then gave me the name of a different bed and breakfast 10 miles away that charges $70 more a night than Towering Oaks. ||||I understand that the booking error was likely due to booking.com, but if the owner was responsive to phone messages or just answered the phone, I would have known about this much sooner and would have time to make alternate accommodations. I was really looking forward to staying here based on previous positive reviews, but the unprofessional way this was handled ensured I will never try to...
