Spacious sites, lots of trees! The lake is nice to take a walk around or just sit on the sand and look out at the water. Our grandson loves playing in the sand at the lake and at the playground. We've enjoyed the solitude and it's mostly quiet except some weekends. The dog run is great if you have an energetic pup that gets a bit stir crazy in a trailer. Store is well stocked and the staff is super helpful and accommodating. Update 3/2022 - New management & staff super accommodating. Very happy with the progress bring made. Can't wait until the season starts.

Out regular camping accommodations were canceled at las minute. Holly acress was recommended by a cousin. He was right about been a great place . It was clean with a lot of activities for everyone. Lego building for the kids..movie.. nice clean pool. We were able to cook our traditional pork in a Chinese box. And even share it with the manager.. we loved it. And for sure will be back soon..

We just attended Christmas in July this past weekend. The staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. We were in the area for a soccer tournament and our games ended before check in time. We called and they were nice enough to let us check in early. The camp site was clean, bathrooms constantly maintained. Pool clean. Such a wonderful experience. We will surely be back.

We loved this campground!!!! Karen and Haley were great at check in and at the camp store. Karen had coffee going every morning when we stopped in for our first walk of the day. I have a 38' foot Winnebago and had some technical problems when I arrived that were well above my ability to troubleshoot. Dean from their grounds crew immediately recognized that I was having problems and came to help. Then Bob and Rob showed up and the 3 of them patiently diagnosed the problem and spent a lot of time and resolved it. We were so appreciative that we didn't have to start making calls for outside help and could just relax. We love the warm and relaxed feel of this campground. It is a little bit older but very well maintained, with lots of activities for kids and immaculate showers and rest rooms that are beautifully renovated. One review mentioned the pine needles were messy. I have been to Holly Acres in the fall when the needles were falling and thought it was beautiful. I felt like I was in "Whispering Pines" and it was great fall setting. The horse farm at the entrance also adds a charm to the area. I appreciate the welcoming feel from everyone there and it has become a local favorite for me that I will return to on a regular basis. Thank you again to the entire staff. You guys were great and we will see you again in the near future!!!! It was so easy to remember all of your names....

We were hosting our grandkids (ages 6, 4 and 2) overnight at the S. Jersey seashore in our trailer camper. Holly Acres is an older campground with newer ownership. Nice wooded lots with more space than many of the seashore resort campgrounds. Amenities included: water, sewer, electric, cable, picnic table, fire pit. Plenty of things to do for little ones: swimming pool with kiddie pool, playground with sandy base, free mini-golf course (sign out clubs and balls), horseshoe pits, walking trails around the different loops. A few families with bicycles made saying hello to your “neighbors” easy. This campground also hosts seasonal campers who have their own loop, complete with landscaping, lights and decorations. A little camp store sells firewood, sundries and a few basic camping supplies. There is a great indoor, air conditioned room for adults, which would make a great place for an indoor family celebration or party (when COVID rates are not on the rise). | The campground celebrates something special each weekend. It was “Happy Birthday” weekend while we were there. Cupcake decorating in a protected great room. A visiting falconer gave a brief educational session with his “pet” resting on his gloved forearm. Overall, this was a fun place to stay for a weekend with small children in a welcoming environment. We’ll be back...
