We do not recommend this place at all. I usually only leave positive reviews as I know reviews can affect a business but everyone should be warned before booking this place. Upon arrival, the rooms are large and spacious for the cost but the AC was 85 degrees on a 95 degree day in Georgia. We turned it down and left for dinner. Came back and my husband had accidentally demagnetized our room keys. I attempted to communicate with Nikolai and Lauren through AIRBNB but they did not respond. Called the number and again, no response. My husband walked down to the “office” and no one was there, which wasn’t a surprise as they had said they’d only be there till 9pm (we arrived back at 11pm). My husband attempted the two numbers listed there and finally reached someone with the second number. She assured us someone was on there way. 15 minutes pass and no one has come, my husband calls again to be told “I’m surprised no one has come yet” and that she would look into it. My husband received a call from a man who said he’s be there in 15 minutes. 20 minutes pass before we hear from anyone again as my husband calls the man to ask how much longer, we are told 5 more minutes. After waiting outside almost an hour with two young boys at 11pm, Nikolai arrives around 12pm. He offers no apology or explanation to what took him so long. He unlocked the door and left. We got into the hotel and it was still 83 degrees. We begin to take showers for the night and realize we only have 2 towels although our reservation clearly listed we’d have 4 people. I message Nikolai and Lauren and to ask for extra towels and they responded saying “$5 per towel. We will bring them in the morning” after ignoring the messages that we were locked out. At this point, I was annoyed and told them not to bring towels and informed them of the ac issues. They never responded and we suffered through the night. Rather than attempting to fix the issue, they responded at 6am in the morning to say we could depart today and issued a refund for the remainder of our stay (4 more days). We found a hotel 10 minutes up the road, booked it, and left. At departure, Nikolai again would not speak to us or apologize. We are grateful we had resources to get out of the situation but truly disheartened Nikolai and Lauren chose to conduct customer service...
Read moreLet me start by saying I knew the hotel is dated when the reservation was made. I booked two rooms when I arrived on site, the lobby was full of people standing around talking to the receptionist. I didn’t think that was a big deal at all, except we had to make her way through the people who were standing there speaking. When we checked in, they did not ask for my drivers license or any information to confirm it was me. We walked to the first room, open the door and saw that there was a bug on the pillowcase. I then mediately, check the sheets to find several more. We then proceeded to walk to the second room and check the sheets. none were present on the sheets or pillowcase. However, when removing the mattress pad cover, it was apparent that there was bugs. We saw at least 10 moving begs. I went back into the front office, but I had to make my way through the people again to speak to the receptionist. I tried to explain to the young lady what was going on with the bedbugs when she replied, I had to call the booking company. There was nothing she could do about it, I walked out the door and immediately called the booking company. The response back from the booking company is that I’m not getting my money back for the two hotel rooms that I didn’t even stand. Word to the wise. Do not stay here. Yes it’s dated but that’s no excuse for having bedbugs. This has been time and energy that I should not have to spend to get a refund for rooms I didn’t stay in due to bedbugs. DO...
