For starters, I booked the room through Expedia and I booked for the wrong night when my husband arrived at 10 to check in they told him that the reservation was for the wrong day and I needed to call Expedia to fix it immediately I called them and everything was all good to go within 15 minutes and my husband checked in our room. My son and I checked in around 1:30a when I arrived. The location is super convenient and the man that checked both of us and was kind. The location is convenient and I have no complaints about the room. I actually thought that it was really great that there was a place to sit and eat especially for guys who have been working all day. We checked out by 8:30am Breakfast is a grab and go style and has pop tarts, Granola bars, cereal bars, cheese crackers, and several other things. I did grab a juice box for my toddler which was great. After getting home I realized I forgot my shirt there. I called at 2p and spoke with a woman and she said if they find it I’d get a text from the manager. I told her that my husband was working in the area only one more day and we are three hours away so if possible, did she think we would know before 5 o’clock or so so he could go by and grab it? She told me she didn’t know and I’d get a text IF it was found. I absolutely understand that it’s my own fault that I left the shirt there but there were very few cars in the parking lot when I arrived at 1 AM and only two whenever I left at 8:30 so I would imagine that housekeeping would have already checked the room, or at least by five. When I asked to speak with the manager, she told me he was unavailable, but he would text me if it was found. Fingers crossed I get it back. Other than that....
Read moreIf you are looking for a bare bones hotel, this is the place for you. To start, there is no one at the front desk. You stand there for 45 seconds or more for a person to come from a back room. There is no coffee maker, drinking cups, tissues, ice bucket (I'm assuming no ice machine anywhere), hair dryer, iron, ironing board in the room. The washcloths and hand towels are paper thin - disposable? 1 waste basket, no clock radio, no USB for charging your phone, no drain stopper. The closet is a cubby with 3 hangers; the desk chair is a folding chair. The complimentary "breakfast" consists of prepackaged snacks and old brewed coffee. Most of the snacks were stale. || On the plus side, the bed was comfy there was a frig and a microwave, big screen TV with lots of streaming, and an extra blanket.|| They want you to drop your keys in a box to check out. I wanted a receipt, so I stood there hoping a person would come out. A voice told me to drop my keys in the box. I had to tell him I wanted a receipt. Waited some more - a person finally showed up. || This hotel cost the same as another where we stayed the night before. The previous hotel had all the amenities like a coffee maker in the room, tissues, iron and ironing board, etc....including a hot complimentary breakfast with scrambled eggs, waffle maker, bacon, biscuits, fried potatoes, juices and coffee. If you are in Three Rivers, TX; look for a different hotel...
Read moreNot the greatest for services or management.. But room was ok for a nights rest. WOW…. I’ve never been attacked in response to a review before like I just received from this place. The “Emblaze Customer Response Team” seems to rather want to take out their frustration on me with my review instead of trying to learn from it. Services and management were lacking at this location.. Here’s a short list of items we encountered while checking in and staying at this location. That would include front desk attendants which I had to wait quite a while for one to show up. The very tiny lobby that had a broken or unfinished marquee sign. That’s tacky and unprofessional. The 2nd floor hallway smelled like pot smoke, and since we were the only guests, anyone could imagine who was smoking it. The add online says they offer breakfast and all we found was a bowl of granola bars. Therefore, as I mentioned in my initial review the location was the best part of the stay. None of those items are rectifiable during a stay, so complaining about it would not have amounted to anything. The management of the hotel was lacking. And the services in the lobby attendant and offerings for breakfast were not up to par for the same cost of a premium brand hotel chain available...
