Sundeck Cottages is a very special place for our family, as it is for many others. Being military and having to moving often, coming to Sundeck has always felt like a home we can keep coming back to year after year. My husband has been coming for nearly 30 years and we have loved carrying on the tradition with our own children. The sunsets, the sandy beach, the lake, and the vintage cottages (meticulously maintained) keep us coming back each year. A few years ago ownership changed and the Johnson family has kept everything we love about Sundeck. They truly care about their guests and always make sure to make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. We are so grateful that they have maintained Sundeck’s charm and have lovingly preserved this wonderful piece of Winnipesaukee history. You won’t find any other place like it! Step back in time and enjoy the historic Lake's Region like it was meant to be! Carl and his family have preserved the experience that I remember from going to Lake Winnipesaukee with my Grandparents and family! The property is well maintained. The Cottages, with knotty pine interiors are basic like they should be but have everything needed to be comfortable, cook, relax and enjoy family time by the lake. I absolutely love the new owner’s vision as he is focused on restoring and maintaining the legacy instead of building new like so many others have on the lake.
