Barren Breeze Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Glasgow

We stayed in The Gallery Room at Barren Breeze Bed and Breakfast for our anniversary weekend, and it was everything we hoped for: peaceful, private, and beautifully appointed. The room features a luxurious jacuzzi tub and a spacious shower for two, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the cozy fireplace with its separate sitting area, ideal for morning coffee or an evening wind-down. One of our favorite features was the private balcony, offering a quiet view and fresh air in a serene setting.

The property overall was scrupulously clean and exceptionally well cared for. We looked forward to the stunning sunsets each evening from the front porch, and Erica went above and beyond to accommodate my low-carb diet for breakfast, such a thoughtful touch. Both Dan and Erica were warm, welcoming hosts who made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality added so much to the overall experience.

Located in Lucas, KY, Barren Breeze is close to the Barren River Lake, within easy reach of restaurants in Glasgow and Bowling Green, and not far from the natural wonders of Mammoth Cave National Park and its many nearby caves. The Barren Breeze B&B is a true example of excellent hospitality. My husband and I were in Kentucky for a wedding and we stayed here this past weekend. Having never stayed at a B&B before, we weren't sure what to expect. But it far exceeded our expectations. The location was gorgeous, surrounded by rolling farmland and nature. Our room led out to the beautiful porch which overlooked the peaceful countryside. The entire home was spotless! Our bed was so comfortable! The tub was enormous! The breakfast was amazing! And the owners, Amy and Greg, are really great people. They were friendly and made sure we lacked for nothing. Amy's orange knots were to die for and she made extra and sent us home with a to-go box the morning we left. The Barren Breeze was a peaceful retreat for us and exactly what we needed. I cannot recommend it enough. It's not only great accomodations if you're passing through or are in the area, but it is worth a special trip specifically to stay there. We had such a lovely weekend at Barren Breeze BnB. Dan and Erica have only had the place a few months, but you’d never know it - they’ve already created a warm, inviting space that feels like a true getaway. The home is beautifully decorated with a cozy KY urban farmhouse style and is incredibly comfortable.

Breakfast was delicious both mornings, and Dan and Erica couldn’t have been more welcoming. They offered great suggestions for local restaurants and things to do in the area, which made our stay even better. The property itself is gorgeous, with peaceful farmland views, stunning sunsets, and plenty of outdoor seating to relax and take it all in.
