Had A Serious Situation At First The Room That We Reserved for 6 days the first hour went well until we started unpacking our things and putting things where we needed them. Firstly I'm a natural born particular clean person overboard sometimes. I even get on my own nerves. But anyway listen when the sun went down the roaches started coming out 1 then 2 then everywhere, they started going ballistic. By nature I always carry everything from pinesol to dish detergent, bleach, air freshener, roach spray. So I started freaking out my husband called the office and started going off he was there for a job in the town. So I came along ,anywho we sprayed and started moving our thing's out and demanded our money back. So the guy who works there didn't want to talk to my husband he wanted to speak with me because I was more calm while getting things situated. Anywho that room turned out to be a smoking room and the smoking rooms aren't as nice as the nonsmoker's room. Even though we smoked we just had to smoke outside our door. Which had chairs and ash trays as well. Long story short we transferred to another room Very Nice no roaches. They are overall some Very Nice people. Every other week when we stayed there we would always get our same room we would let him know in advance when we were returning. Later on in the week one morning I went out to smoke and I saw them spraying all the downstairs rooms even the grounds and parking lots. Great People nice little town as well Very clean everywhere u look around no trash in the roads nor in the parking lots. They do things by the books. I couldn't believe how clean that...
Read moreI wish I could give this 4 out 5, but I can't. Check-in didn't go very smoothly because of the language barrier (Reservation? Reservation?, no I just want a room). I asked 4 times what the rate was and the clerk didn't understand and had to ask her husband what I was saying. After I finally checked in, I was escorted to my room and shown how to use the Vingcard to open the door. That was a minor nuisance, plus there was no security chain on the door.||The room was clean, except for the dead roaches behind the microwave and everything else looked OK, including the furniture which was a bit dated, but in halfway decent shape. There was no radio in the room, but there was a small alarm clock. ||The bed was comfortable, though I had to toss a blanket on since the room was cold due to the heater constantly quitting. The heat would turn on, then shut off the moment the room got comfortable, then finally turn back on when the room got too cold. The TV worked perfectly, but who needs 200 stations?||Plenty of hot water in the shower though I was cold drying off due to the heater problem. I also noticed the towels were threadbare and stained.Since there was a Best Western ice bucket in the room, I can only assume the towels were old BW cast offs. ||There was no breakfast, but they seemed to be in a hurry to have me check out (it was 9am, checkout is 11). ||This place has so much potential to be a decent small motel, but it looks like they do the bare minimum to keep it from...
Read moreThis is a mixed review. First the good, the room was clean and the shower had hot water and decent water pressure. The room also had satellite TV so good mix of channels. The bad - Free wifi. So technically this statement was very true, there were 5 free wifi networks to choose from, although all of the networks had no internet access. Typically this is only reason I would join a network..but I could connect to the unsecured wifi so I suppose this wasn't false advertising but useless all the same. The couple running the business I would assume are the owners as well. The man had a super heavy accent making most of what he said hard to understand. He threw the keycard through the slot of the window, which I don't think was intentionally rude, but didn't feel friendly either. Then the shady part, we were there for a business stay, our company was paying for the room and put the room in my partners name. The man wanted my partner to sign a paper that was folded so that we were unable to read the document he was to sign. "You don't need to read this part, just sign here" Personally I would not sign anything I could not read first, but my partner signed it because it was late and just wanted in the room as soon as possible. Coworkers in the next room said their pillows had stains and hairs on them, but my...
