Stayed here for one night this July. When we arrived we arrived before the 1pm check-in, we knew we were early but saw our reserved spot was empty so we asked if there was a chance we could park early and the host guy was very short with us and said "no". Okay fair enough, it was us that was early and we would wait for check in. We were told where we could go park until check in time. We parked and walked in to visit family that had arrived the day before. While visiting with them we saw at least 3 rigs pull in early as well and they were allowed to check in and park in their empty spots. The grumpy camp host drove by in his golf cart and we again said "can't we check in as well" and he said "no". Okay fine we will wait. Once it was time we pulled in, the host walked over handed us our complementary peaches and nothing else and walked off. We weren't given any park info handout or anything. Then at 2:55 am we were woken up loudly to not one but three sprinklers hitting our trailer as they were watering. We understood that watering takes place during the middle of the night because our family that was there already had warned us so we were very careful to make sure we were parked well away from the grass and that all of our stuff was picked up. Luckily we had buckets to cover sprinklers once we were woken up to water hitting our door, bedroom window, and whole side of our trailer in the middle of the night while they watered so we could sleep and not have loud sprinklers hitting our trailer or getting water spots all over the trailer. We understand that watering needs to take place but we were very frustrated that we took care in parking so that our trailer would not get hit with sprinklers and they have sprinklers set to basically hit your trailer while it waters at 2:55 a.m. Not happy about the 3am sprinkler shower trying to cover sprinklers. It would have been polite to have been warned that our trailer was going to get hit with sprinklers in the middle of the night so we could have been a little more prepared, chosen a different spot, or maybe even a different RV Park but clearly the not so friendly camp host had nothing to say to us that might...

We will definately return someday if possible..the camp host was great when I was arranging our stay. She was always helpful on any phone calls I made and even returned a unanswered call from me when she saw she had a missed call... we arrived after hrs and host had a nice check-in bag waiting with fresh local peaches(which were amazing).. the park has plenty of shade trees at pretty much every spot and showers and bathrooms are well kept and clean. The park is literally right against the river and there is even a small "lagoon" which is connected to the river but is protected from wind and current. There are a few spot to launch kayaks from..we were able to get our canoe out very easily from the lagoon. The location is popular with wind surfers.. the park location is a short distance from a major truck stop area,so even tho there is not a real town next door, the truck stops have a few fast food options at least and I was able to do propane tank exchanges.. if you need more town options The Dalles is only about 10miles away...the rv parking spots I saw in the park had great shade and looked nice and flat...it was nice to have the camp host even verify I was a guest at the park when she noticed me parked in my car by the showers, which I didnt take wrong, since it shows she is keeping an eye out for the location( mainly just to keep day use river visitors from coming into the park).. due to the location there was no sign of any questionable people in the area and we felt very safe with our stuff. The park is also next to a state park so you can access the park if you want..we were very happy with our stay...also just a mile away is an amazing StoneHenge full scale replica. Pretty amazing to see a full size complete Stonehenge in such a...

GORGEOUS location! We thought we would be showing up to a brown and dry location and not get to see the beauty that we saw in other photos posted. We were completely wrong! It was gorgeous and I will definitely be making this a stop anytime I passed by or want to stay in the area for longer. We only stayed for one night and Dale and the lady checking us and we're both extremely delightful! Dale took so much time out of the evening to help us back in our almost 45 ft fifth wheel! He explained everything to me to make it easier for the next time we have to back in as we normally do pull through sites, but they had none available that evening. He even grabbed some WD-40, and helped us lube up our sliding hitch to show us how to use it to our advantage while maneuvering a back-in spot. giggle that sounded funny...

They made space for us and told us they have two rules; don't drive on the grass, and drive slow, so long as you do those, all is well in their little world! It's like a little Garden of Eden in the middle of the Washington, Oregon desert areas. Such a pleasant surprise, there are multiple fruit stands peaches wine all sorts of yummy local sweet treats nearby so, definitely make sure you find time to do that even if you just hit up the fruit stand on your way out like we did.

Blue on the map is FULL hookups (water, sewer, electric). Yellow is electric and water only. There are two dump stations just below where the center star...

WOW!! What a wonderful blessing peach beach was to run across in our fantastic journey! The old growth trees, the green grass, gorgeous restrooms with showers, The Spacious RV spots and of course the Columbia River right outside your door! The camp hosts Dale and Wendy are most gracious! As we arrived their impeccable guest service was spot on!! Made us feel right at home. The grounds are remarkably well Kept. Dale and Wendy pride them selves in keeping all of this available for guests of all ages! Who ever owns this majestic park needs to feel blessed you have Dale and Wendy hosting their park! They never hesitated to stop what they are doing to answer any questions you may have. They are both always hard at work making this place remarkably beautiful!! We will be back for sure!! Thank you Dale and Wendy for the impeccable memories that you both made possible for us! With out you this park wouldn’t be the same! PS. A gem on the Columbia River. I made a reservation online, procuring the last site for my time frame. It was quite simple and rates are fair. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by Wendy, a camp host who clearly enjoys what she does. I was guided into my space, by her husband and they explained all I needed to know. She even pointed out the family of Canadian geese waddling near the shore and showed me the flowers she recently planted. It is a short drive to the Stonehenge replica and adjoins Maryhill State Park. The site I had was shaded, right across from the river, included water and electric (although I believe some sites also have sewer) and there is a convenient dump station at the entrance. The gravel sites are level, well kept and have picnic tables. They are somewhat close together, but there is enough space, not to feel cramped. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The night sky was beautiful and I personally enjoyed the sound of the passing trains... it's part of the area one needs to embrace. I've driven from Florida to Washington so far, and this is my favorite park to date.
