My friend Donna and I stumbled across This wonderful inn thinking it was a bakery because when I looked it up on Google, that’s what they gave us so we went knocking on The door and this wonderful lady came to the door named Gail and we asked her if she was a bakery and she told us no meanwhile I picked up one of her business cards because I knew the following year we were going to stay there. We’ve stayed here two years now and plan on going back next year. The inn Is quiet and the rooms are cozy with a beautiful little harbor right across the street, The owner Gail serves a wonderful breakfast that fills you up so you don’t even need to have lunch and we will absolutely be back next year. Thank you Gail and family

Our stay at Elsa's Inn was one of the best B&B experiences we've ever had. Wanting to avoid the typical tourist spots, we found this charming little cottage to be the perfect retreat. It sits right across from a beautiful water body, offering breathtaking sunrises in the morning. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, providing us with great recommendations for local sights and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a cozy, peaceful stay in a picturesque location.

This is a wonderful little spot right in prospect harbor that makes a guest feel like they are right at home. Ruby prepares a delicious breakfast, while the owner charms every guest with his smile and tells interesting local stories. Loved this place!

My four siblings with their spouses just spent four nights at Elsa's Inn. It is a beautiful Inn in a very scenic location and just around the corner from the Schoodic Peninsula which is one of the most beautiful places in Maine. The Inn Keepers Gail, her daughter Jessica, and son in law Ryan were wonderful, and we enjoyed our time with them, too. The Inn was perfect for our family reunion, we all had views of the water from our rooms, and they made the dining room into our family get together each night for games and just being together. The breakfast was delicious each morning and the cookies were a treat at night. Gail was full of ideas and also knew of hidden sites that we were not aware of that were stunning! We all felt very welcome and enjoyed our walks around the harbor and meeting many of the locals in the neighborhood. We never had time to spend on the patio, but it looked very inviting, but there were too many places to explore in that area. The "Little Acadia" area was minus crowds, and filled with beautiful natural areas. After a ride over to Bar Harbor on the Ferry, we couldn't wait to get back to the quiet side! I miss the four days of being pampered. The morning of the fifth day I was too busy packing to go to breakfast. There was a knock at my door and when I opened the door Gail walked in with my breakfast and we were able to have our last fun discussion together until next year. ||You will love the area, the innkeepers, the food and...

If you are looking for a wonderful B&B run by amazing hosts in a beautiful setting this is for you.||||The rooms are well appointed, the hosts are friendly the view from the porch overlooking the water is peaceful and relaxing.||||Breakfast was excellent and the hosts provided great local tips and suggestions which added to our three day experience. ||||They have recently acquired this property and plan to improve it even more.||||All six of us (3 couples traveling together) agreed staying there was a highlight of our two week vacation traveling through several states chasing the fall foliage which by the way surrounded this location.||||Bar Harbor is nearby and an easy drive from this retreat through a beautiful countryside. The national forest surrounds this part of Maine and is beautiful.||||We could have stayed at this inn for another week and enjoyed ourselves. Sadly our plans dictated otherwise.||||My suggestion and plan is to visit often and savor...

Elsa's is a great place to stay in the Schoodic Peninsula. We wanted a home base to explore Acadia and discovered how great Schoodic is; less crowded, has an incredibly beautiful coastline and has good restaurants. Elsa's Inn was lovely - the rooms were very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed, the breakfasts are yummy, the location is scenic (right across the water from a harbor with lobster boats), and it's within an easy drive to several restaurants, and great hiking. It's quiet and beautiful. Best of all is Gail, the host - she is very gracious and welcoming, very knowledgeable and helpful if you need tips, and clearly cares about her guests and Schoodic itself. Her yard is eco friendly, full of native plants and pollinator plants that were blooming beautifully when we visited. It was lovely to sit on the porch and chill in the evening. I highly recommend this...
