I hate to do this but I know this might save someone money and the hassle of everything I’m currently going through. So the concept of the hotel is different, rooms are small but I kind of expected that since they are shipping containers. The first night I couldn’t get the WiFi to connect so I contacted them and they advised me to pick any room since they all share the same password. Secondly the toilet holder was broken shower curtain was super dirty not sure when was the last time they cleaned that. The shower and the room in general was just dirty.( included pictures for reference) Now the part that really got me. On my second day I had just finished showering when I heard someone trying to get in my room. I think they were struggling to get the code right the first time but then at the second attempt the door opened and I was completely naked and scared because I honestly have no idea how this person got inside. As I jumped in shock I heard someone realize someone was in the room and they immediately left.! Woah! The security of these rooms are not safe. This alone made me want to run! I did reach out to the owner about these incidents and at the beginning he was very responsive but then he ghosted me and I have yet heard back from him it’s been days now…. Overall horrible experience not worth the money save it go somewhere else! The middle sister next door is worth it though the drinks phenomenal and service was good so maybe if your in town grab a few drinks and check out the other hotels near by which I’m sure are cleaner and safer.

Stopped by The Middleton after a day of shopping in Graham, and it was the perfect spot to relax. The place is clean, inviting, and has a laid-back, stylish vibe. I had the whipped espresso, and it was absolutely delicious—smooth, rich, and just the pick-me-up I needed before heading home. The attached hotel looks really cool, and I’d definitely consider staying there in the future. Next time, I’ll plan to stop for an adult beverage at the hotel bar too! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Middleton Hotel is a great concept in a fun location! Container-sized rooms are really all you need with queen bed, small desk, and bath with shower. Keypad doors with electronic check-in, bespoke cocktails next door, cute courtyard and on the Graham square with numerous restaurants, shopping options. Kinda sucked that it rained overnight so courtyard had standing water, but still pleasant stay.

The hotel rooms are unique. Rooms are too small especially the bathrooms. They were dirty and there were spiders throughout the room along with spiderwebs. There were also nats, mosquitoes, and flies in room. The added security chain lock was broken could not rely on that. Code work when I first got there left to go get something to eat came back and the code did not work. Had to get another code. The area of the entrance of the rooms through the whole area was gravel. The courtyard had flies, nats, spiders, and tons of mosquitoes assuming why they were in the rooms. The little coffee truck in the court yard was never available even though it states it opens at 7:30am. They were closed or sold out supposedly by 8:50am. They were unreliable for grabbing something before leaving. The lounge connected to the courtyard was nice the cocktails were good but you also had tons of nats flying around there. Room bed was uncomfortable and noise when you moved. I had a hard time sleeping. The A/C unit worked well but the room still felt humid inside. The A/C unit has mold inside it you can clearly see it so that is being blown into the room and breathing it in. Lots of locals frequent the lounge and like to sit outdoor which if your a single women traveling isn’t the most ideal since it can compromise your safety. Since they have direct view of the doors people come in and out of. My room door was left open on two different occasions by the cleaning staff. Bedding was never changed the entire week and I don’t think they were freshly wash for my stay either as there was hair in between the sheets. The light in front of the door shines horribly into the room and the curtain they provide for privacy since the door has a huge window in it didn’t block it out. Towels were stained and I personally would be embarrassed to provide them to guest. Overall I would not recommend or stay here again. Guest on courtyard can be loud and you can hear the next door occupants of the rooms and the...

The hotel room are refurbished cargo storage containers with just enough space for: |1. an extremely comfortable queen size bed (one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in);|2. a small desk n chair;|3. enough space to do yoga or meditate; |4. a small but adequate bathroom with a walk in shower; and|5. a Sothys amenity kit | Despite the room being small, it was very cozy. However, someone who is slightly claustrophobic might not be as comfortable. The hotel is located close to the main town square and close to restaurants, shopping and main roads. Located in the courtyard of the hotel is a "food pod" which serves a variety of coffee and pastries. |Additionally, Mat, the owner, quickly response to your calls or emails (as there is no reception area and all check-in/check-out/communication is via email or phone). |The main draw back in my stays has been:|1. lack of hanging space for clothes (no hangers supplied and clothes are placed on the two pegs available (as my stays have been two to three nights, this hasn't been a major issue); and|2. no refrigerator to keep water/liquids cold.|Tips:|The second floor rooms are numbered 9 -16. The higher the room number the further away they are from any gathering/event that may be occurring in the courtyard. I always try to book Room 16, however my last stay was in Room 10 and the sounds/conversations from the courtyard were not an issue.|Parking: If there is heavy rain, the parking spaces in front of the hotel can have ankle deep rushing water. During one such rainy night, I had to leave my shoes in the car and walk barefoot to my room! Suggest parking in other areas close to the hotel.|All in all, the Middleton remains my top choice for short stays in...
