Beautiful campground. We were going to stay at another campground, however lower down closer to Randall they were full. So I would suggest downloading Google maps while you're in Randle before you head up the forest roads. They are not marked very well, not very many signs to show you the way. We took 2 wrong turns. The campground is nicely maintained, the camp host had a paper copy of maps of the roads and surrounding caves. There are vault toilets. A small Creek runs right next to the campground. Was pretty quiet and calm, on the smaller side in regards to number of sites, but the sites were pretty spacious.Lots of vine maples & tall cedars. Host had wood, Randle is 12 miles away, had a good drive thru espresso, and saw a whopping breakfast joint, & has station. They are the last cell phone reception you get. We went to nearby Layser caves , Read reviews so you dont go to far up the road. Would return if we came back to this side of the state. The host was super nice, were glad to talk with him...

The camp host was pleasant and had nice recommendations. The drive to Lake Takhlakh was long and partial gravel but the view at the lake and the trail around the lake was worth every bump in the road. You can bike ride or walk the trail. The views of Mt. Adams were...
