I had my wedding at Painted Lakes Ranch, and they have been super hospitable throughout the whole planning process and answering questions throughout the year (as we booked a little over a year ahead of the date). I scheduled my wedding at the end of August, and God blessed our day with a cold front and no rain, I will never forget that because that is NOT normal for August in Texas! We planned for our ceremony in the Sun Room, Reception in the Barn, and dancing in the Sun Room again. When we first signed a contract with PLR, the Sun Room was still an outdoor patio, so do know that if you do something like this, there is a flip fee for changing the Sun Room from a ceremony site to dance floor as part of the budget. Also, the pricing packages are different this year than when I did my contract. They now have packages for guest counts of 50, 100, and 150 (the highest number may be different, don't quote me). Mine was a 80 person wedding when we signed, and we paid a fee for a slight overage that we had (a group of people didn't show up, but also several people brought extras that we didn't know about). Either way, things ended up working out nicely! They have a number of things you can rent for the wedding or outside of weddings (we rented chairs for our rehearsal dinner held at my parents' house, that helped a lot!) We also rented items like the table runners, whiskey barrels, the marg machine, wood slices- they have a lot to rent! The bridal suite was great for getting ready, and I didn't discover that the mirror lights changed color temperature until right before we left for pictures 😂 We had our ceremony in the Sunroom (due to the expectation of 100°+ weather outside), and the pictures turned out beautiful! We liked the Sun Room because everyone could stay cool and still enjoy the beautiful views outside! It was a great experience, and the pictures turned out so good! Painted Lakes has several wonderful photo locations that my photographer took advantage of. I'll attach photos to this review. We hired Monica as our Day-Of Coordinator, and she did a fabulous job with making a timeline and running things on a schedule, and everything went smoothly the whole night! She is very easy to talk to and very professional. I truly believe my wedding day was that much less stressful because of her keeping things in line! I was able to stay in one of the cabins before the wedding, and we booked the Bath House cabin for after, and they are cozy and cute! I want to thank Wade (for driving us around to the photo sites!), Susan, and Monica again for making our wedding such a memorable day! I strongly recommend looking at this location if you are planning a wedding! They are also available for other kinds of events (baby showers to corporate), and they also host local events (such as Sip and Shop- which I may go to!)

From the moment we saw Painted Lakes Ranch we were in love. The Tumbleweed Barn is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by beautiful texas landscape. Then we met Susan and Wade, they are the nicest people. True Texas Hospitality runs in there blood. They never made us feel pressured to make a decision. They showed us around the property and it was breathtaking. Along our wedding planning journey Susan and her staff were always there to answer my questions and give advice when I needed it. Fast forward to our wedding weekend we stayed on the property in their cabins with all over our closest family and friends. Everyone kept saying how gorgeous their venue was and how nice the cabins were. It was so great to be able to have a special weekend before the big day with all our people and their cabins were the perfect place for it. We cooked out on their massive fire pit and enjoyed the great outdoors til way late in the evening. I got to start my wedding day by enjoying the perfect morning weather with a cup of coffee and a stroll around the area. My girls and I had the perfect set up for getting ready in the bridal cabin while the guys enjoyed playing pool in the bunkhouse before they got ready. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and Painted Lakes Ranch was there every step of the way. They were so accommodating and helpful. They saved the day with jumping in and helping when they didn't have to. Susan, Tasha, and Megan the security were amazing all evening and made sure they did everything they could for us. We had a blast taking our sunset picture with Tasha and Megan, they definitely kept us laughing. We thank Painted Lakes Ranch, Susan and Wade, and their staff for helping our big day be absolutely wonderful.

As a working mom with little time to prepare for an event, Painted Lakes was a dream come true. Susan and her staff ensured that every detail was perfect. From the initial setup to cleanup, they made everything easy. The venue was absolutely breathtaking. From the moment our guests entered the gates, they were met with beauty. There were ducks swimming in the ponds surrounded by the greenest grass and trees, and that was only the beginning. Once our guests opened the doors to the barn, they were all wowed as the inside was absolutely stunning. My guests were all very complementary of the venue and I even had one tell me that our party was top shelf. Thank you Painted Lakes for making our event one that we will always look back on with only the...
