I really loved this campground. It’s full of trees, quiet, and clean. I had such great memories from a few years ago when I first visited, so I decided to come back this year — and it was still just as beautiful. Unfortunately, my experience this time was ruined by a large group — maybe a family or a group of friends — of more than 30 people, including both adults and kids. They were loud and inconsiderate, playing music until midnight and talking and laughing loudly until 2 a.m. What made it worse was that even though there was a campground host, they didn’t do anything to stop the noise. To be fair, the host did an excellent job keeping the restrooms very clean and well-maintained. It’s just a shame that this beautiful campground experience was overshadowed by one noisy group and a lack of enforcement of quiet hours. If the host had stepped in and done their part, things could have been much better. If you're lucky enough not to have bad neighbors, I would still recommend visiting. One more thing — there were a lot of flies and mosquitoes. I got bitten more than 10 times! we visited there August 2 and 3

Beautiful space: tons of huge trees, beautiful sites and friendly hosts. It is a good idea to make reservations ahead of time, although there are some first come, first serve spots. The area is pretty isolated; this is great if you just want to camp with maybe one day trip. Also, check out the cave nearby! Just don't drive too far up the mountain or you'll get stuck.

Solid little campground. Clean vault toilets. Nice host. $25 a night. No river access. Everyone had their dogs on leads within the campsites which i really appreciated. Gun shots can be heard pretty much every morning from the private property next door.

Overall great spot. We had site 2. Most sites were okay size. If you have large groups you'll need more than 1 site. Our site was pretty good sized though. There are 2 vault toilets that were maintained very well and they have a dumpster for trash. Sites were quiet. You don't hear vehicle traffic at all. You also don't hear the water from the river (we wouldn't have minded but i think its a littletoo far to hear it). We did hear fireworks but otherwise it was very quiet. Also, dont get this confused with the Tower Rock RV Campground when you search on Maps because the signs are not as clear as they can be and it will likely automatically take you to the RV one. The guy at the RV site was nice to direct us back but i guess its a very common occurrence.

Again overall its a great spot and...

Rating Woohoo! As good as it gets!

We stayed here 4 nights in a fifth wheel in mid Sept. It's way back in the woods. The sites are all level and grassy. Most are scattered under huge trees with shade, great views, and full hookups. It was quiet and very relaxing. The hosts were great, very pleasant and willing to help. We went to St Helens, about 1/2 hr drive and to Mt Ranier, approx 1 hr drive. Because it was so pleasant we stayed an extra night just to relax at the camp. We would definitely...
