Sue and her team are the best to work with! The hospitality on our wedding day made for a calm, organized, and seamless event for us and our guests. Sue is an amazing event coordinator and has such a lovely heart. We loved working with her!

The venue itself is spectacular! The house is quaint and surrounded by the natural beauty — as it is set out on a point — of the lake!

The food was amazing!!! The menu was seasonal and customized for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding! The details of the meal are what blew me away! Fresh. Flavorful. Seasonal. Locally sourced. Beautifully arranged. Tasty!

We are an older LGBT couple who married here last year. We planned an entire weekend for friends and family. This is our home state, a state we love, and the Grand Isle Lake House is one of the most beautiful lakeside locations in the Islands with a gorgeous grand old historic house in Vermont. Our welcome dinner and reception was on the sweeping porch, we were lucky to have moonlight. Every single person involved in planning and running of the wedding are the nicest, most competent, caring and LGBT supportive people you would ever want to meet. The food from Let's Pretend Catering, all local Vermont farm food, is the best wedding food you will ever have. I photographed an event here yesterday the it was absolutely stunning. The views are unbeatable, the summer landscaping was gorgeous, the staff was on top of everything, and the venue itself maintains its historic charm while being breezy, light, and modern.
