Pine Lodge Resort — Hotel in Grand Lake Towne

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. We wanted a nice quiet place away from crowds. June, the owner, was very welcoming when we arrived after 10pm on Friday night and checked on us a few times during our stay. She arranged for a reservation at the Arrowhead Yacht Club for dinner on Saturday (which was great by the way - we were seated on the patio distanced from other tables and the food was delicious). We were in a lakeside cabin with a hot tub on the deck and it was very relaxing. There is a small kitchenette and a charcoal grill on the deck (you need to bring your own charcoal). Wine glasses are available on request. The pool at the resort was not able to be opened in time for the weekend due to covid restrictions but my kids were enamored enough with the hot tub. What a great experience. From online booking to check in and check out. When we arrived at the property, all we had to to was follow signs with our name on them to our secluded woodland cabin which was unlocked, and ready for us to "move in." The cabin was fully stocked with cookware for the two burner stove as well as linens, bedding and shower/bath supplies. We literally only needed to bring our food/beverages and charcoal. The Weber kettle grill was cleaned and ready for us to grill steaks on. The hot tub was a perfect 100 F. Not too hot, but just right for the 45 F nights. The fireplace was clean, flue open and a nice supply of firewood, and fire starters ready...

My family have been coming here for years, since I was a child. Now, as a 30 year old I brought my own children. The place was everything if not more than I remembered. So beautiful, quaint and relaxing. The cabins are clean and well maintained. A short walk takes you past a beautiful little pond to the amazing pool. You will also find there, a pool house with games and seating around a fireplace. I could go on and on. The owners are beyond gracious and are just the cherry on top of a wonderful experience.
