This is the fifth straight summer we have stayed here, our third as KOA. This is our retreat, our escape from the hustle and bustle of life. We have stayed in four different sites, all with full hookups, all on the outside of the lower loop. We tend to stay to ourselves, and the outer sites enable one to feel a bit more secluded. The owners are making continual investments in the campground; there is significant progress just since last year with the new deluxe sites and completing an update to the playground. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also send multiple text reminders throughout the day for shower closures (for cleaning), store hours, and end of day actions to reduce the likelihood of bear encounters. We love this place and have already booked our...

I hate to post this but the owner Greg Query is a joke this man literally lied to our face and so much more they also cheated us out of a day and in the process of packing up the female property manager was extremely rude on our check out the owner talked about how awesome it would be to hire a couple like me and my wife and then he because I stood up for myself as anyone would do said it wasn’t a good fit. There prices are robbery. They treated my son and daughter badly this is a must not stay place I pitty th real workers they work hard there. There was a lot of secrets there like a lady and her husband from Canada was gonna get fired and more and they wanted to hire someone else not to mention the drama...

My family and I traveled to 15 states on a road trip. We tent camped and stayed at mostly at KOA’s. Our favorite spot ended being Grand Lake KOA. The Location is awesome very close to Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. It’s very clean, maintained, quiet, wildlife on property (moose), safe they lock the doors at night but can unlock with a code, very friendly staff. My kids want to come back. I think another reviewer was complaining about mice which I did not see. We did see 2 Pikas or maybe Voles they were quick, but not a complaint. You are in the wilderness you are going to see animals, bugs, etc. If you don’t have smaller animals then you won’t have larger ones. I hope to visit again...

Colorado captured my heart, a place where the soul truly heals, beautiful memories are made, and stunning landscapes envelop you. I cherished the daily rain and the feeling of the sky being so close. Exploring the national parks in their pristine state, witnessing wildlife in its natural habitat, was an unforgettable experience. Sharing this with my children made me incredibly happy. The historic buildings with their vibrant stained glass, the soothing sound of the running river, and the majesty of the tall trees all combined to create a deep sense of serenity.
