Wilderness Inn Motel — Hotel in Grangeville

Stopped for lunch around 12:15 travelling north on highway 12 heading for Missoula (not many choices along highway 12). Curb appeal, other vehicles (including 5 motorcycles) parked in front, must be reasonable price for good food. Cool interior with many taxidermy wildlife mounted on the walls. Friendly service, god seating. By the time we put in our order all tables were in use. Had the Turkey and the Tuna Sandwiches, one with a side salad the other with cottage cheese (the third option was a bag of potato chips). Sandwiches on fresh bread, lots of content. Stopped for a room and a hot meal on a Sunday night, there was one car outside the restaurant and none outside the hotel. After being ignored for a while by 3 women working there I asked the one waitressing about a room. She looked at me confused and said “nothing is clean” and walked away. Disappointing to say the least..we've always had good service and food in our numerous visits to the area. However, the afternoon of 8/19/18 we stopped in for a much needed meal; unfortunately our servers were extremely unfriendly and inattentive (it wasn't busy).
