Mountain Loop Scenic Byway — Hotel in Granite Falls

Drove the Mountain Loop Byway today. What a treat it was, until we hit the unpaved area. That was an adventure in itself. I love travelling off the beaten track and this drive was beautiful. Mountains, rivers, trees, sunshine and a less hurried pace is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Our muttly thoroughly enjoyed his swim in the Sauk River. Will be back and hopefully to camp.
