The cabin it self was okay. There was no air condition provided we had to rent one. The water was disgusting. The lake was filled with algae it was not swimmable and very dangerous for the kids. She gave us false advertisement.
This is not Fatmeh, I am one of the family members that went there. The feedback is constructive and honest! I will not respond to personal negativity implied in your unprofessional response! Again so everyone knows, the cabins are clean and good for stay; however, the water is not for swimming at all. Two families out of four left a night early because there is no chance for a human to swim; full of weeds, algae. In 3 nights stay, no other person on this small lake property was swimming at all. They were either on boats or canoes. Also, specifically asked if lake is safe for swimming for young children and was told yes which is very dishonest. The elderly male you keep on referring to didn’t read the tiny ground side of not parking and then moved the sign immediately. Your father stayed with us for desert and I chatted with the lady and the property was left clean and that is why we were not contacted for more fees (another proof if dishonesty); again honesty is important and key to success in everything including business. We have been to many cabins in Upnorth and air conditioning was not an issue and was not included in my complaint; the water is for boats and fishing NOT swimming. Will not engage in...

Including a record player with, I don’t know how, but everything we wanted to listen to. The best selections! Owners Aimee and Brent are awesome. They help with anything you need. one night it was going to get a little cold so they made sure the pilot light was lit on the furnace and turned it on just in case. My preschooler had a blast. The shallow water was so perfect for him to safely play in- and we loved taking the pedal boat out to the little island. At night we heard loons! It was so beautiful! Lovely spot on a lovely lake. Would go back...
Read moreWe stayed at Little Island Resort this last weekend. It is a wonderful setting with cabins and a lodge on the property. My group of friends have been staying all over Michiganfrom year to year. We stay in the winter for a weekend. We found this to be a great setting. Private, on the lake with good views from our cabin. The fire pit was perfect and we stayed warm for hours outside which is important to us. The lake is surrounded by cotteges but it seemed very private. Our group cooked our meals everyday so the cabins are adequaltely stocked for cooking which has been a problem for us in the past. We will definately be...
