We absolutely loved our stay at Highland Cottages. The details put into this place were amazing. From the decor to comfort was 5 stars all the way. We have stayed many places and this tops them all! We stayed in hideaway forest and it was so private, it felt like you was in your own piece of quiet and solitude which is what we needed. Life is super busy but staying here gave us the perfect opportunity to get away from it all and still be close to home. Eating in guntersville at city harbor is also highly recommended. While our plans changed on account of the weather with our wedding venue, we were able to book the “Whispering Pines” cottage through AirBnB as our wedding night stay and the only way to describe it would be: perfect. The interiors were very modern and welcoming while also being quite spacious given the tiny home layout. The hot tub was perfectly clean and a very VERY nice touch. We had the privilege of staying at The Eagles Nest last week and enjoyed every minute! My husband and I live very busy lives and the cottage was the perfect place for us to unwind and spend quality time together. The property was beautiful and we felt like we had everything we could need. I also thought it was nice that there were drinks in the fridge for us and a loaf of bread with butter when we arrived!
