This place may be lovely, I'll never know, but get a paper map of the area and mark it before going. Probably also bring an old school gps cause a phone won't do it. Google maps directions are not useful, as the roads are unmarked once you enter blm land. The roads are well graded gravel, but narrow and cliffside. We made it to a junction where the road split to a logging company, a private residence with a lot of bullet holes in the sign, and another road (perhaps the right one?) We turned back there because maps had died and out printed directions were impossible to verify without a map. You won't see your neighbors, but it also brings the bugs closer to camp. As a free campground, you will need to pack out your trash.
