We've just came back from 2 very enjoyable days at Paradise Lodge - and that's even during the Covid restrictions. Firstly, the staff. As another reviewer said, they deserve a 10/10 all round, from the manager all the way down. Everyone made us feel welcome, they couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble (not that we're 'that' needy, just based on the couple of requests we had and their general demeanor). Your enjoyment of the lodge itself and the accommodation is going to depend on your attitude. If you come in expecting this to be like the Waldorf Astoria, you're going to be disappointed at a perceived 'lack of facilities'. If you come in with a sensible attitude realizing where you are, you'll appreciate the lack of cellphone reception or wifi, and won't mind there's no TV and that the air-con extends to cracking the window open and listening to the river burble by. Same goes with the food. If you come in expecting haute cuisine, then you'll be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the food is actually very good - the breakfast was eggs, pancakes, sausage and some of the best bacon we've ever tasted; the dinner was a nice piece of chicken with rice and mashed potato and veggies, a bit of salad and cake for dessert. We were never left feeling empty (and could barely finish what we had). If you come here with the right mindset - to get away from it all - and want to either hike the trail, raft, or laze around reading on the deck or in the hammocks, then you, like us, will love Paradise Lodge.

This was a very nice property. This was my 1st time here and was the 2nd night stop for my four Day Rogue River Drift Boat Fishing Trip. Very nice place where several presidents like Ronald Reagan, George and Laura Bush and Jimmy and Roslyn Carter have visited and stayed. The dinner and breakfast that was served was top notch. Great tasting food with really good service along with a full bar. The rooms were very nice. Large rooms nicely furnished BUT their mattresses need to be replaced in my opinion. Just a suggestion since the rest of this fantastic lodge is awesome.

Wow! Hard to place words on the ability to raft into a high quality lodge. Beautiful accommodations and incredibly attentive and helpful staff. Bear boxes included for coolers or things with smells to keep boats clear. Price includes dinner and breakfast. Full service bar available, even ice or ice cream available to non guests for purchase. They were also able to consider dietary restrictions and came up with delicious alternatives. Worthy of the price...
