The treehouse was cozy, clean, and beautiful. The scenery around the treehouse is beautiful too. The breakfast was amazing! Without a shadow of a doubt, some of the best breakfast/food I have ever had at a hotel. I would go back there just for the breakfast. I did have a problem with the communication. The check-out time in the email I was sent was noon, but posted in the treehouse as 11:30AM. There aren't a lot of signs as to where to go once you drive into the property, we kind of assumed where it was and guessed correctly. Check out was odd, we had to text Jodie? I believe to ask her if there was anything we needed to do before we left, she said there wasn't, I think it would be helpful if that information was included in the email.

This place truly is paradise. We stayed at Shiitake. This house is located all the way in the back, surrounded by trees. The house is beautifully decorated. And the whole property is peaceful. Phil, Valeria and Jodie are very nice. Phil's breakfast was very generous and delicious. Each dish was decorated with fresh cut edible flowers from their green house. Among all, a white ginger flower had this beautiful scent. I liked it so much that I took it with me and enjoyed it for the rest of my trip. Also pears from their tree are super good. Phil gave us a whole bag of pears. They are the best pears we ever had so far in our life!

We stayed in the Shitake, which was all we could book because the others were sold out, so it was a little small because we had a family of four and my daughter's friend. However, the owner was awesome and the treehouse was amazing! Very fun time here and the breakfasts that come with the stay are amazing! It was a great relaxing stay and I would highly recommend checking it out!

My husband and I booked a night in the Excalifir on our trip down the West Coast. Our stay at Vertical Horizons Treehouse Paradise was one of the highlights of our whole trip!||||The booking process was completed by email and was quick and painless. Because we were running late on our drive from Crater Lake, we had to call for some check-in information, but they made sure check-in was easy for us when we arrived that evening. ||||The Excalifir is absolutely lovely. We were so excited to stay in a treehouse and the Excalifir made that experience even nicer than we could have imagined. We had chosen the Excalifir because of its built-in bathroom but it was especially cool to have more of a "tree-mansion" experience. It was huge! When we walked in, we were so taken with how cozy and comfortable it was. We entered into the living room, which had plenty of room to get comfortable on its couch. Our host had already turned on the heater so the temperature was perfect. The entire treehouse was immaculate!||||Everything about the design of the treehouse fit it so perfectly. We loved the sink built into the wood in the bathroom. The shower was pretty big and the water temperature was easy to regulate. We had no issues with any of the plumbing. The little kitchenette off the living room was adorable. A spiral staircase in the living room led up to the bedroom upstairs. We only slept in one of the two beds and it was quite comfortable. The Excalifir also had two balconies - one upstairs off the bedroom and one that wrapped around the whole treehouse. We checked it out when we arrived at night but stepped back out onto it in the morning to better appreciate the view in the daylight!||||The rate for the room was $383.80, which we thought was reasonable for such a large space and a unique experience. ||||Our hosts left us a little welcome along with a guide to the activities offered. We were sad we weren't staying longer because we wanted to check out everything they had to offer. We'll definitely...

The location is beautiful, and the grounds were great with the pool, grassy meadow and friendly animals. We stayed in the Shitake and unfortunately got in late due to a flat tire on the drive down. When we got into our cabin, there were ants crawling up and down the tree which goes through the center of the room, as well as ants crawling all over the floor, walls, and table. I didn’t want to bother the hosts since it was so late, but my kids got freaked out and ended up sleeping in the car. When I told the person at breakfast in the morning about the issue, she said, “yes, we have ant problems”. Super helpful. I also told her that the wrong size sheets were left for the futon, so I wasn’t able to make it up for sleeping. When we got back in the evening, I went up to change out of my swimsuit, and ants were crawling over my feet and up my legs as I stood there. The same too small sheets were still there (twin for a full size futon). ||I got really annoyed, since we were paying $300+ per night. The owner ended up coming up and vacuuming ants for a good 30 minutes. He also brought up the right size sheets, ||The loft beds were very comfortable, the futon very uncomfortable. There is a curtain around the toilet, not a partition as it says on the website.||If I’d been paying half as much, I’d give it 4-5 stars for the location and breakfast, but at this price, not an...
