The Welsh Hills Inn — Hotel in Granville Township

What a beautiful adventure! First of all, we were met by the most lovely couple, Jeff and Bobbi, - absolutely lovely, welcoming, kind, friendly and helpful! They made sure our stay was perfect in every way. My husband and I were there for a bit of R&R and to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary - and were met with a beautiful bouquet of roses and lilies - so so beautiful!! Our room was amazing - so so clean and very comfortable. The rest of the house was so nice! There is beautiful wood trim and accents throughout and every inch was beautifully decorated for Christmas! So tasteful and filled with wonderment. We were even greeted by deer, each time we drove in the driveway - it was almost like it was their job to be the greeters! LOL! And, our stay also came with a very friendly and so well behaved dog named Wrigley. Such a sweet girl.

Our bed was very comfortable! The mattress was awesome and the sheets were elegant. The TV worked well and offered good viewing options. The bathroom was great - with a steam shower and a deep bathtub for soaking. There were double sinks for added comfort, fluffy soft towels and a towel warmer! We even had a sweet little screened in porch directly off our room - where we were able to sit and enjoy a bit of fresh - brisk - air whenever we wanted. (We like cooler temps, so it was refreshing to sit down out there with a hot cup of tea for a bit).

We enjoyed a gourmet breakfast each morning of our stay, prepared and served by Jeff and Bobbi. The food was excellent!! Absolutely 5 star rating quality, and very generous portions. Each of our 3 mornings was a different breakfast menu - each worthy of a 5 star rating! One evening we purchased an add-on to our stay and enjoyed a candle lit dinner - also prepared and served by out lovely hosts. The dinner was absolutely delicious! Again - 5 star quality and very generous portions!

We also purchased an additional add-on to our stay and enjoyed a fantastic 90-min massage in the pool house area. (We didn't even need to leave the property for this treat).

What an amazing get away for us! Just what we needed and more! We're already looking forward to our next visit!

If you get the opportunity to stay at the Welsh Hills Inn - do it! You will not be sorry! And, give yourself those well deserved add-ons - you will not be disappointed!!

Update 2/25 Again, a fabulous time. Bobbi and Jeff's attention to detail is unmatched. The Inn is cozy and comfortable but also beautifully decorated. Bobbi and Jeff's hospitality is absolutely the best we have experienced. The food is delicious, everything about your stay will be 5 star. Highly recommend The Welsh Hills Inn and we look forward to our next stay.

Update 4/24 I wish I could start a completely new review. Google does not allow that and I feel like it penalizes businesses and reviewers both. Anyway, I shall deal with what is, not with I wish was. The Welsh Hills Inn somehow manages to not only be top notch in every way, the ambiance, the food, the hospitality, the decor, the gracious hospitality, they manage to maintain staying top notch. It is absolutely the best of the best and I highly recommend. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in, the linens are luxurious. The breakfasts are consistently delicious. We love everything about the inn, including the hosts, Jeff and Bobbi.

Update 4/23 I honestly do not think it gets better than this. Bobbi and Jeff excel at hospitality. Everything at the Inn is top notch, and I mean everything. The food, the linens, the facilities, the hospitality, the friendliness, the ambience, everything is amazing. Bobbi and Jeff make it seem so effortless but I am sure it is anything but. The decor of the inn is beautiful, the food, delicious. We always enjoy our breakfasts and look forward to the wine and cheese plates during the evening. Our lives are very hectic right now and it is so restorative to stop away, press the pause button, and just relax in the very best there is.

2/22 Absolutely incredible. Highly recommend. Bobbi and Jeff, the owners, have mastered the art form of warm, welcoming, generous hospitality. The inn is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, very comfortable, honestly I believe it's the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The linens are luxurious and very high quality. Our room was beautiful, light filled, and made for relaxation with its comfy chairs, warm throws and great easily controllable lighting. We loved the resident dogs, Wrigley and Elli. Peaceful Retreat||From the moment Jeff and Bobbi, as well as their 2 dogs welcomed us, we felt right at home. Having seen YouTube videos of The Welsh Inn in Granville, Ohio; the bed and breakfast did not disappoint. Sitting on ten plus acres of lush green grass, the grounds are fragrant with the scent of spring flowering trees and flowers. We enjoyed rocking in the chairs on the front porch while conversing casually with other guests.||We had fun walking around the property just taking in the natural beauty. There is a pool and hot tub with a pool house where one can relax in the comfortable furnishings and watch tv if desired. Nearby, there is a shower and changing area also.||This is by far one of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have ever been too, and we can’t wait to return for more relaxing downtime and peaceful tranquility.||Jeff and Bobbi have paid attention to every detail of their inn, from the fluffy pillows and comfortable bed to the wine and cheese set out in the early evening for the enjoyment of their guests.||Recommendations were made for casual and more upscale restaurants in an email before our stay, which we followed up on. We made our reservations for dinners for the weekend a week in advance online.
