I signed up for Big Sky Breakthrough because I wanted to feel young and youthful again. The advertisement told me I would have world class training and the picture was a young man who was very fit. I am writing a 1 star review because I feel lied to. I have an old man training me who is overweight grunting and moaning who hasn't figured out how to get himself in shape. We have a saying in Hawaii. Empty cans make the most noise. I think honesty is the #1 most important factor, and I can't help but feel it was broken on Day 1. If I wanted an old overweight man training me, I would go join the YMCA, but I paid thousands of dollars and flew thousands of miles to be here for this opportunity. I debated whether to write this, but it needed to be said. Everyone is thinking it, and people should know what they can actually expect when they sign up for this. Rachel is absolutely fantastic and the meals are world class. I was most nervous about the diet and my expectations have been exceeded. The lying about the training is...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem! All of the staff are incredibly friendly and so down to earth. The chef, Rachel, makes incredible meals and puts thoughtful care into everything she makes. Our main contact through our stay was Jenny. She was so helpful and accommodating. She also took us on a trail ride and made sure all of us (most of which haven’t been around a horse in years) were comfortable and happy. Caroline took care of all our requests ahead of time and organized a wonderful itinerary. Sam helped us out on our sporting clays experience. He was a wonderful instructor and we loved the course he had set up. We stayed in the Lazy Doe cabin which we would love to stay in again. Comfortable beds, very clean house, and it was warm enough the day we had massages to set up the massage table on one of the porches. The nearby town of Belt is quite small, so stock up on any groceries you might want in Great Falls. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and our family would not hesitate to go again for a relaxing and...
Read moreWhen we pulled up, we were amazed at the beautiful layout of the property....and then the service hit. The person running the place, I believe his name was Josh was not very attentive, like having to ask for toilet paper 3 times, and we were the only guests occupying 2 of the 3 cabins. He would get drunk in the community building and talk about the owner of the property in a very negative manner, the horseback riding we paid for for my daughter was a complete joke-he waled her from the fenced area to the barn and that was her ride...the positives of the trip were the woman helping my daughter paint the horse and do crafts-loved her, and also the gentleman who took the guys shooting-we were unable to leave gratuity for them at the end because Josh was unprepared at our checkout. Also, Mark did refund our fishing trips because we were unaware that we had to drive almost 2 hours to the spot and it poured the whole day. I would definitely not return or recommend anyone visiting unless the management...
