Lakeside Cabins & Boat Slips — Hotel in Greene Township

I absolutely love Lakeside Cabins. I’ve been coming here for five years to fish Lake Wallenpaupack, and it truly feels like my home away from home. The cabins are beautiful, each with stunning views of the lake. Every cabin has its own fire pit—perfect for cozy nights around the fire after a day on the water.

Inside, the cabins are warm and inviting. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, the couches are great for relaxing, the kitchens are fully stocked, and the showers are excellent. The decks, with their chairs overlooking the lake, are the best place to sit back and watch the sunset melt into the horizon.

I always reserve a boat slip for my boat, and the fishing here is incredible—stripers, hybrids, and so much more. The location on the lake couldn’t be better.

We loved our stay! We chose these cabins because they offered incredible value for the money and they did not disappoint. We were greeted with a cozy, clean and modern cabin. It was well stocked inside and outside. We had everything we needed to spend a wonderful time: outdoor fire pit, grill, porch chairs and indoor, a smart TV and quick WiFi. Sarah is incredibly quick to answer if you have questions. The cabins are very private but you still see neighbors or people driving down to the docks; we felt super safe. The lake is a two minute walk down the path. The cabins are also located close to everything you need: grocery store, restaurants, ice cream, public beach (although we chose to drive to Promised Land State park for their beach which was 15 minutes away). We arrived in the later in the evening as we had arranged. All the interior and exterior lights were off and the string lights in that part of the property weren't lit. It was very dark We had to use a flashlight to find which cabin was ours. The cabin was very clean, but kind of sparse. Nothing on the walls at all and very bright lighting that isn't dim-able. We discovered immediately that the WIFI wasn't working, which was really unfortunate because I had work to do on a deadline (it also meant the TV didn't work). I called and texted the number we were provided but no one responded for nearly ELEVEN hours. The manager said she had fallen asleep and didn't see my message. I got the impression she didn't think it was a big deal. I'm glad it was only the internet and not the heat, or the plumbing. We won't...
