Unbelievably charming B&B, an absolute must-stay.

Barb is an incredible hostess, and Ken was equally charming, keeping the guests well entertained during the decadent breakfast spread. Still-warm morning-baked goods paired with an individual parfait, made with freshly made yogurt, ripe berries and homemade granola. This was followed by a hot dish, equally delectible and unique from day to day.

The suite we stayed in was charming, cozy and clean. The early 20th century architecture was expertly maintained, and the house was immaculate. Even though we ended up arriving well past check-in, we received a brief tour from Barb, detailing the history and formalities of the house before settling in for the night.

Each room was perfect for our needs, and the bathroom was pristine. Soft terry-cloth robes hung for my wife and I in the closet, and our kids had no problem sharing the TV in the living room-turned-bedroom with the pull-out couch and functional wood-burning fireplace.

After our meals we would wander into the backyard for a short nature walk by the stream that runs through the backyard. In the evening, fireflies danced amongst the beautiful flowers that lined the property. Truly, a magical experience for my whole family, our 9 year old daughter and 18 year old son included.

Needless to say, we will be returning, both with our kids and without. We are already looking forward to...

You are not welcome here if you have a disability and service animal. My daughter is disabled and has a trained service animal necessary for her to function outside the home and was denied entrance to this Inn. I had a reservation as part of my mother’s celebration of life/funeral that we arranged with family and friends. One of the owners, humiliated her in front of other guests and said that under no circumstances would she or her small service animal dog be allowed in. I had told the owner when I arrived but she did not disclose this information to me. I could not remain or stay at the inn at the expense of my daughter who was being discriminated against and I was so uncomfortable that we left. My money was not refunded. The celebration of life was also ruined for me but it was too late to go anyplace else. The property is beautiful and rooms are nice. The owner’s however have no business running an inn. If they feel they can legally ban service animals in Pennsylvania they need to disclose this on their website. Please advocate for people with...

This B&B is a true treasure. The Victorian-era manor has been updated beautifully while retaining its historic charm. Our room was luxurious, comfortable and very clean. The whirlpool tub was such an amazing way to relax, and the plush, king sized bed was perfect. There is a nature path on property that we enjoyed immensely - full of blooming honeysuckle. Barb was so gracious and welcoming and was happy to chat and get to know us. Breakfast was homemade and served at 8:30am, which was perfect for me and my husband. It was delicious and beautifully presented.||Some tips: Check out the website! Each room is unique with its own layout and amenities. The photos are accurate - in fact, I found the property to be even more impressive in person. This is not the right place for families with children under 6. Check-in between 3pm and 6pm and breakfast is at 8:30am. If that sounds good, you'll love this beautiful inn! I know...

If you are looking for a quiet beautiful comfortable room away from the hustle and bustle I highly recommend it. The room was clean, very beautiful, and was so relaxing and stress free. The mansion itself is so beautiful and the property was very beautiful. They have a short nature trail and a beautiful stream that is very peaceful and relaxing. The bed was wonderful and relaxing and the breakfast was amazing! Egg and ham casserole, a fruit and granola parfait, yummy chocolate muffins, juice, rich dark coffee, and all the extras. If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet, peaceful place to stay and relax I highly recommend it. And last but certainly not least the owners are wonderful and friendly!

Unfortunately I was injured due to my stay. The ceilings are very low in some places and I hit my brow on one of the beams (that sticks out over the bed in a couple of the cheap rooms) in the old servants quarters. I had a painful welt and developed a black eye for 2 weeks. Those rooms should not be used for guests 5ft. 8in. and taller and they should have padding on the hazards. In addition in the shower there was a dangerous situation with sharp screws pointing toward the tub. Someone who fell on them or grazed them would sustain potentially serious injuries. It is too bad because this is a nice inn with pleasant guests and hosts but this had to be reported. SEE PICTURES.

Beautiful property, spacious, tasty breakfast, great hosts! The inn sits next to a stream where you can sit and listen to nature. There's a short trail as well. There are many sitting rooms inside as well as a broad wraparound porch. The inn was booked yet we hardly saw any other guests. The house is huge! We recommend sitting on the porch, which faces west, and watch the sun set. Our room, the Kennedy, was spacious with a comfy king bed. The shower is cramped. But if you're not 6'2", you should be okay. Breakfast was tasty, and the hosts were there to great you. They are polite and entertaining. Definitely see us coming back here!
