Adventure Motel — Hotel in Greenland Township

I cannot thank Nora enough for going above and beyond to accommodate our reservations. She and her partner purchased the motel after we had made reservations and did not get the information for us. She called me the day before our arrival stating she only could give us 4 of the 5 rooms we reserved. We were ok with that, however, the night of arrival she could only give us 3 rooms which would not work. She booked an AirB&B 2 miles away, paid for it and allowed us to use her CanAm to help ease the mix-up, which was no fault of hers. The previous owner did not give Nora all the previous information. Nora went above and beyond to make a rough situation into one of gratitude. I highly recommend Adventure Motel. This is a cash only establishment, so be prepared on arrival. Nancy (the owner) was so kind. She greeted us at the office and have us our room key. The room was small but comfortable. Slightly outdated, but it only added to the feel of the whole place. Cell service is pretty poor in the area, but Nancy kindly provided us with the wifi password and it allowed us to at least contact the outside world. The owner was so nice about getting us a last minute room so we wouldn’t have to camp out in the cold rain again. She also accommodated us having a dog. Convenient coded entry into the room. The room had a lovely kitchen inside. Plenty of hot water. Nice complimentary toiletries. Fluffy towels. Good wifi. Nice warm bedding.
