We didn't get to see the bison, but it wasn't for a lack of effort on the part of Audrey, the front desk staff. Audrey was wonderfully accommodating and pleasant, too. When I indicated that seeing the bison from the rooms was what sealed the deal on our decision to stay here, she went to work getting me a room that looked that direction. Unfortunately the door lock mechanism to that room was "dead", but Audrey stepped away from the desk to inspect it personally with me and some newly keyed cards, then promptly switched us to a suite to make up for the inconvenience. She was pleasant company the whole time and seemed to genuinely love her ability to connect with guests and make their experience pleasant.( Please give her a raise and keep her around! Good front desk help is extremely hard to find these days. Audrey is GOLD.) The suite was not facing the bison pasture, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway...the Blackout Curtains were THAT good. I slept so soundly on the comfortable mattress and in that dark room that I overslept my usual "up with the sun" waking experience, to my great delight. I almost missed breakfast, which was actually HOT (something many hotels have foregone in the age of Covid) and had PLENTY of options (also something lacking many other places). I've logged this hotel in my list of places to stay in the future: great location, great service, clean, comfortable, safe-feeling... everything you could want in a hotel stay while traveling.

Bed Bugs & Ticks in a pet free non smoking room - I stayed on night and woke up to a tick crawling right in front of my face and then when I got up found bed bugs all over the bed and under the pillows. I did throw the sheets back prior to climbing into the bed and there was no sign of either. GM has not responded to anything - Front desk clerk told me “most guest bring ticks with them”. It has been multiple days with zero resolution other than “we can comp the room” forget all the luggage that was thrown out and lost day of vacation because of dealing with this. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Located in a semi-isolated area off the highway, Comfort Inn & Suites at Greenville I-70 was incredibly ease to access for a one-night stay late at night while traveling and was super secure thanks to all the lighting. The room was quite spacious with comfortable beds. Staff was super friendly.

I called 2 weeks prior to my arrival and requested to speak to the Manager as the front desk attendent Chris was rude on the phone and did not satisfy the questions I had on the phone. I called back a week later and left another message with Chris because I still had not been contacted by the Manager. I was told he makes his own schedule and comes and goes on his own time. I called back later and spoke with Chelsey - super nice explained my situation and she booked the conference room for me and my hotel room from Tuesday - Saturday. I told her I was still waiting on the manager to call me back, she checked and said that she had also posted a note for him.

I arrived to the hotel to check in and Chelsey was the attendant on duty, again super nice very professional and welcoming to your hotel. I inquired about my message and told her I was still waiting on a return call from the manager. I also asked her to please leave a message that I would need the room open at 6am as we would be moving in early our 1st interview was at 7am and I didn't want to be late, she ensured me she would leave a note for the morning attendant.

The next morning Chris was on duty and no the room was not opened for us. I had to check in with him, and yes he was surly in person as well. When I decided that I just didn't want to hear it as 2 of my 3 other co-workers had mentioned his attitude to me I looked at him and said "I'm still waiting on the return phone call from the manager." He walked over and unlocked the conference room for us to get into.

For 2 days I saw your manager at the front desk, and in and out of the dining area - he never once approached me or spoke to me as I was that area all day from 6am until 6pm/7 at night. On the 3rd day I had walked to the hallway to get some water from the water fountain with one of my coworkers as we were NEVER offered Water or Coffee during the whole time we rented the conference room from Tuesday thru Saturday. As I was coming back up the hallway I felt someone walk up behind me and he addressed me from behind "Are you Miss Miller? I knew who it was at that time and didn't bother turning around. Yes, I am. You wanted to talk to me? Who are you? I'm the manager. Why yes, yes I did want to speak to you 2 weeks ago when I called and left a message for you again upon my check in here. Well what do you need to speak with me about. Right now sir, I am leaving I am on my way to location and won't be back for a while. Well I am here now, still walking behind me - AS I said, I am leaving now I've been here for days I am going out to location and don't know when I will be back. My coworker was behind your manager and said he just couldn't believe how un professional "this joint and the people are"

I did leave the hotel and went on my way as we had a meeting at our site location we had to get to. Your Manager NEVER once approached me again. I did not feel the time was right to make a complaint as we were still staying in the hotel with our belongings in our rooms and our vehicles in the parking lot.

Chris & Your Manager could learn a whole lot about customer service from Chelsey. Please don't lose her as that would be a fiasco for your location in Greenville.

Side note 2 of my staff members said their rooms were old, not udpate and the bathrooms had black mold in and around the tub area. 1 morning there were 2 different customers who were raising all heck about how dirty and nasty the dining area was and were videotaping it. I have pictures also of the dining area that were dirty at 9am on Saturday morning. Cereal with milk spilled on the floor by a table, cereal all over table tops and on the floor, gravy strewn out on the counter top, orange juice spillage on the counter, the list goes on, tables not cleaned when other guests had left. I walked up and was taking pics of the mess when your manager saw me, he came over from the front desk and...

We have stayed at this hotel many of diffrent times. Always thought it was nice, clean, friendly staff until the last stay. We checked in (6/27/21) with a nice lady named Heather. Went to our room placed our things in the room turned on the A/C and left. Did not return until 9:00 or so. 10:15 decided to go to bed. Was in bed for about 5 min and started noticing my leg getting wet. Jumped out of bed and pulled back the sheets to realize that the mattress was WET. GROSS!!! Went down to desk and explained what was going on. Clerk then asked if we had left the window open. It was pouring rain, bed no where close to the window. Most of the time you can't even open a window in the hotel but maybe 2 inches. Then began asking if they could change the sheets. It was not the sheets it was the mattress. Explained that we are not staying and would expect a refund to which that clerk said we would not be charged. Check my credit card and was charged. Called to speak to manager 1 week later (7/2/21) cause the charge didn't post for a few days. Was told Manger was busy and would call me back. Had to call back on (7/4/21) cause there was not a call back. Was told by manager that it was under investigation and explained to me that the clerk was not suppose to tell me that we would not be charged. I continued to say that it was not my problem that he told me that. I also asked why the investigation had taken so long. He said that they needed to talk to the cleaning lady who had been off a couple of days.We ended the call with they would get back to me. Never heard anything so called today (7/7/21). Was told that we got our reimbursement but also was put on the do NOT rent to anymore. Really cause I complained about my bed being wet and wanting our money back. Never in a million years would I of thought that would...

I stayed here for one night while visiting friends in the area. The hotel is currently under renovation and I was given no notice of this on their website or prior to my arrival, so that was an unexpected shock. Signage is all over the property regarding their renovations. All staff was extremely friendly and curteous. Check in was fast, and the clerk was very friendly. He acknowledged my Choice membership, confirmed my special requests, and even asked my reason for staying. It was very nice to have a casual conversation while checking in. In addition, I called for a wake up call the next morning and recieved it in a timely manner around the time I woke up.

The elevator looked a bit beat up, but it was nice to have for the upper floors and ran smoothly. Minus some dead bugs in the light fixture by the door, and a noisy AC unit, the room I was assigned (328) was spacious and quiet. The bathroom was huge, shower had excellent water pressure, and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in at a hotel.

Breakfast was decent. Overall value was a bit pricey for what it was, but I was happy to give it a try. Overall, despite the renovations going on (breakfast area tore up, signage and old carpet pieces on hallway floor, pool closed for maintenance), the Comfort Inn was a nice place to stay and has lots of potential for improvement. I have a feeling after they are finished renovating, it will be an extremely nice place to stay! Though there are areas of the property now that are very nice especially the lobby, and hallway and my room on the 3rd floor. I would stay again if staying overnight in the area...
