Don't even know where to begin. The manager seemed very nice on the phone and during the checking in process. We checked in and went to grab food. We came back to our room opened the door it smelled musty, we thought oh well it's only for 12 hours and we didn't bring anything in so it wouldn't smell. We eat our supper in the room, I got under the covers and I felt something climbing up under my shirt and I grabbed it and asked my husband is this what I think it is. Yes a COCKROACH!! I went to the bathroom put it in the toliet and called the manager down to room 13. She asked why I told her what the problem was and she proceeded to tell me that Cockroachs don't live in Wyoming. Well there were several around the toliet area. I didn't even look in the bathtub. When she got in the room she states these are not cockroachs because she sprays every week and she couldn't tell me what type of bugs they were. As both my husband and I working in health care and the hospital, we very well know what they were. She trying to kill them right in front of us. We told her we were leaving and wanted our money back because it was disgusting. She walked outside the building screaming at us and telling us that we trashed the room, used the bed, shower and the toliet. I asked her how could we trash it when we haven't even been in here for 20 minutes and we haven't even looked at the shower yet. She stormed off and went up to these people who must rent on a monthly basis from her and the guy told her those were Texas bugs. My husband said we are from Iowa not Texas as they were blaming it on us since we had Texas plates on our rental vehicle, she than says they are coming out of our vehicle. Seriously lady we haven't had problems until we got to your disgusting motel! She wasn't going to give our money back so we called and put a hold on our card and the bank issued us a new card because who knows what that crazy lady is capable of! PLEASE BEWARE!!! (And no there was no cases of fruit have no idea what your even talking about and never demanded cash get your story...

This hotel is not obviously older... you can see that when you pull in, still from reviews we had high hopes. Checkin was great, the lady was very friendly. The room was warm when we went in but turned on the window AC and it cooled right down and it was CLEAN! The room furniture was older but maintained well, not pristine but well maintained. There is a microwave small fridge and sink and table to eat or work. The bathroom was CLEAN! A few chips here and there needed some caulking but clean and the water pressure is phenomenal! The shower head is a little low, I'm short so no problem. I am a little too dependent on hotel amenities because I didn't bring shampoo or blow dryer and they didn't have them. To be fair, however, I didn't ask the front desk. The bed... for me second to clean... not so good. Not lumpy, somewhat firm but not comfortable, at all! And the pillows are so flat they may as well not be there. We kept rolling toward each other because of lack of mattress support. The walls are a little thin. Could hear the people in the next room talking, and they weren't being loud. My only complaints are the mattress and pillows. I took a circle off for the bathroom needing a little caulking, didn't bother me but it will...

Hitchhiked from Wyoming to California and back. Had been several days since I showered and the river was really muddy so that wasn’t a good option to get clean. The owner let me “rent” one of the rooms so that I could take a cool soapy shower real quick. She could have charged me full price for a room but she didn’t. That hospitality is very hard to come by nowadays and I am very grateful for her. The rooms were very clean and tidy, the water was refreshing and the bathroom was clean as well. If I ever make it through Greybull again I will definitely pay her a visit!!

Great "Mom & Pop" non chain motel, clean and affordable. I stayed here last summer on my motorcycle and the rate was in my budget. Great location and I like the fact that I can park my motorcycle at the front door of my room. Room was quiet and clean and uniquely furnished! Someone obviously has some great talent and took time to create the unique end table light (cowboy boot) and the window drapes. See the photos for what I mean. I definitely would stay here again this summer.

This place was cozy and cute. The owners were so hospitable. You won't find that at any major hotel chain. This is a spot that if we are in the area again we will definitely look to stay at again. I myself prefer the mom and pop type places, hotels, restaurants etc etc. So if you're ever in the area check these folks out, I promise you, you won't regret it ... Thanks again Antler Motel owners....
