Summer House West — Hotel in Gulf Shores

We were looking for some properties that are close to the gulf shore and this is the property that we found. We found this through Airbnb.

Coming into the property at first you might get confused where the actual place is but if you follow the instructions on the check-in you should land up on your condo.

Pros: -Beautiful view of the gulf shore right across the road and nothing can match that. -Very accessible to the beach as well to the lagoon behind the property. Interiors of the property are quite enough for 2 families with 3 kids.

Cons: Long steps to climb to get to the property. That is the only complaint that I have. There is a ground level parking and then you have to take all your stuff to a flight of stairs and you wish you can sit inside and stay there.

Other than that, for the price I paid everyone in the family enjoyed the place specially the proximity of the beach to the property was close and the kids loved the place so that they can just stroll...

Great little place to stay for the price. I would recommend asking for a condo in either the first building (so you can be closer to the beach) or the third building (so you can be closer to the lagoon). The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a family of 5. The only issue that I had was that the internet didn't seem to work. I was given the network ID and password, but the network just never showed up. I searched for the modem to reset, but couldn't find find it anywhere. Stayed for four days in 105B. WIFI doesn't work, multiple door knobs broken including the front door. Tub didn't drain, fold out couch in living room had multiple stains including blood stains and mold on the bottom. AC couldn't keep the small condo lower than 77 during the day and the whole place smelled musty. When we called and complained the lady just treated us dumb and said someone would come out.
