Elmwood is absolutely worth visiting for an event and/or staying overnight. From the warm welcoming of the outside farm cats to the gracious hostesses Selena and Lettie will certainly make you feel at home. Their b&b is clean, spacious, serene, and cozy. It was a very peaceful environment with beautiful views which added to the relaxing stay. They are from the area and would be able to recommend many activities & restaurants to suite your fancy. Samples of refreshing soaps and lotions were available in the room that Selena crafts. Coffee and hot tea were available at anytime. Breakfast was delicious with a savory crepe flavored perfectly with every bite and a sweet crepe that was divine with their special ginger sauce. We had an unexpected heavy snowfall in the morning in which Selena plowed us out of the driveway and down the road to make sure we were departing safely. Lettie had even cleaned off our car before we came out to load our luggage. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about our stay and events we had attended in the past. This is a must stay for anyone who is looking for a b&b where you will be able to relax and enjoy every minute. Thank you both again for your thoughtful and generous kindness...

The two sisters that run it are incredible people. They picked us up at the bike path and hauled our bikes to their place. There it stayed on the trailer, safe and they CLEANED our bikes.
Once inside the whole place is increible and large and spotless.
They suggested using one of two places to deliver our dinner to us. We used one diner and another guest used the other and both places served really quality food. It shows pizza on the brochure, but they have other things such as Italian dishes. There were drinks in the frig, that we were invited to take.
The bedrooms are huge and incredible. That night, both my wife and myself got 11 hours of sleep! It's just very inviting and comfortable and the view around the outside is so relaxing.
The other guest we stayed with ended up being at our next accommodation and BOY we missed what we had the night before! Life felt like a struggle after that. LOL We were spoiled and there's nothing...
Read moreWe were biking the C&O canal and needed a last minute place to retreat our weary, sweaty summer-soaked bodies. Not only were we lucky that they had room available but they met us at the towpath at Williamsport, loaded our bikes onto their suburban. As we stepped into the suburban we were blasted with the most glorious AC ever experienced by humankind. We go to the Inn and we’re given a tour of the restored historic home; the laundry room, the dog wash, and the guest fridge stocked with treats and libations for the taking. We settled into our room which was perfectly appointed; we showered and shut our eyes.
The bed was a gift from the heavens. We woke refreshed and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. When e we’re ready to leave they had already loaded our bikes on the suburban which they had also washed for us at their bike walking station for guests. They drove us back to the trail and wished us well.
It...
