Our first visit to Halls Crossing on Sat-Mon was okay. With shore fishing we caught mostly catfish, no stripers. The Marina NEEDS a fishing dock like Wahweap and Antelope. The chairs outside the Marina store are covered with spiders and webs so beware when sitting down. It needs some serious cleaning and treatment. The Marina store is also open only 8a-5pm, very limited if you need water or ice. The store by the first camp site was closed Sun & Mon. The tent camp ground was nice and love the shower. It was not fully occupied and had good space. Sun morning I thought there was a skunk nearby and looked around and noticed an old man at a tent site smoking his marijuana, it must be his morning fix since he did it again Mon am. We are not users so it is a problem for us. Perhaps a public posting is needed to deter campers from using around others, especially so early in the morning. Otherwise, we came for bass stripers but there were not enough accessible shore spaces to fish. This is the only visit we will have. If improvements are made,...

Note that the halls crossing ferry has been out if service for many, many months. Word from the NPS folks is that mechanical problems will keep it out of...

Also the inventory is low at the convenient store right now (June 2020). I think it also must somehow be related to Covid-19 because it has never been an issue...
