Rode the Rooster Run @ Broxton Bridge Dual Sport ride here.. the campground was very nice, plenty of room and well maintained. This place is beautiful.. well organized and felt prepared to host a large event like this.

We flew in for our anniversary, stayed in one of the BnB rooms, and enjoyed fine hospitality and the fascinating history of this beautiful place.

A beautiful property in lovely and friendly South Carolina. It's a horseman paradise and great for RV, tents and just doing a walk around.

Classic Southern hospitality will greet you when you come to Broxton Bridge Plantation. The plantation has been owned by the Varn family for nine generations and it is being operated as a hunting retreat and bed and breakfast. The Civil War's Battle at Broxton Bridge took place on the southern end of the plantation February 1, 1865. You will get a lot of value for your money when you stay, from wonderful surroundings, comfortable and clean rooms to pleasant and friendly service. You can relax, put your feet up and really enjoy your stay, because this is not your average bed and breakfast. || ||Since my first visit here (1 year ago), I have never had a bad experience. Land owner and host Jerry Varn ... Oh, yeah: bring back the Southern Gentleman. Compassionate and kind, honest and engaging, entertaining, hardworking and possessing of an integrity given value by the quality of life he unapologetically pursues. You can count on him and you can trust him. Do you have any idea how rare a combination that is? He is a complete Southern gentleman and does the right thing, regardless of whether anyone’s looking. He embodies today’s "Southern gentleman" - raised with a sense of tradition and respect he is effortlessly polite. He knows how to smile and nod to passersby, and how to introduce himself to a group of strangers. He treats ladies with the utmost respect. He pulls out chairs and opens doors for a lady. The horse trails are beautiful. I could see well beyond that and the old trees, beautiful ponds, creek beds and gorgeous natural landscape were magical. This was one time that the website could not come close to portraying the beauty of nature that the Varn family has captured and maintained here.|| ||Whether you’re a hunter interested in extending your fun through the summer, or a casual clay shooter ready to up the ante Broxton Bridge is the place to go. Horse rider here. We stayed one night 2 people 2 horses cost 80$ we were charged for Camping, stalls and then a trail usage fee. We were never greeted by anyone. We had to fight spider webs to access the water spigot. There was no fire ring. Absolutely no cell service or wifi. While there are miles and miles of trails they are poorly marked with a lot of signs having fallen off trees leaving you to guess which way to go. The deer flies where pretty bad(not anyone's fault just saying they were) when called about reservations I was never told we had to be out of the woods by 330 because of deer hunters. Every where else I have camped has either a day fee or a camping fee. There was a couple there with an atv that said they were allowed in the woods and didnt have to pay a trail use fee. It was an hour drive for us to get there and we stayed because we were all packed up and the next choice to camp was over 2 hours away but we...
