Mohican State Park - Campground B — Hotel in Hanover Township

Primitive camping and campers awesome area and plenty to do with in walking distance approx.1/2 mile total round trip hiking to the dam across the covered bridge and take the trail all the way to the top of dam and see alot of cool shaded areas for pictures and breaks. Kayak or canoe from dam back down under the covered bridge and past the campsites and the current has always been easy to paddle back up to the campsites if yo want to keep going for a longer trip.lots of hiking trails and paths going up hill different directions, lots of squirrels and birds some rabbits very few racoons. Well patrolled by rangers, I've never seen anythingget out of hand and we spent alot of time camping down...

The Smaller of the Mohican State Park Campgrounds. Campground B is located just downstream of the Covered Bridge and is set up more for primitive camping and does not have Electric Sites. It does offer fairly level gravel parking and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. This campground is more secluded and quite and all sites have great views of the Clearfork / Mohican River. My site (B-6) was very muddy, and the sites around me were muddy as well. The sites are also very small and very close together. I would recommend paying a bit extra and camping at the main campground (Campground A).
