We spent the holiday weekend camping in our new permanent spot here. It was a quiet and peaceful. We met a few neighbors and began to build a deck. By the way... Bear gives it four paws up because it is a dog friendly place where he can be taken for a walk.

We absurdity love seasonal camping here. It's dog friendly and family friendly. It's our peaceful place! I sleep so good here, but also find lots to do if we choose. Best kept secret in Loudonville.

This has been the best campground I’ve ever stayed at. They have activities and also swimming, fishing and an arcade. They also have disc golf. The owners are super nice also.

Camped there 3 summers, until we finally had enough of the place being poorly maintained and issues with management not keeping the campground a safe and peaceful environment for patrons. The campground, the sites and the roadways are poorly maintained. Down trees and brush all over numerous sites that were never cleared out, including our own, after management started chopping down trees but never cleared them out. Trees and brush blocked roadways so larger campers and trucks could barely get through for a good month or two. A huge pile of brush and tree limbs was on our site all season and never cleaned up by management. Grass on unused sites extremely overgrown and trash left behind from campers when they left was left sitting there on the sites for months. Roadways not paved and not gravelled routinely, they were often muddy and difficult to navigate. They allow "riff raff" campers. One family exhibited unsafe, aggressive, threatening and rude behavior towards our child due to his skin color. Management was made aware, but did nothing, however, they indicated that they had had several "incidents" with this family. Other campers had reported concerns about this family, yet they were allowed to remain. They allowed campers to live there, even charged them rent, however this goes against their own rules. The dumpsters are not emptied often enough and were often overflowing with trash stacked on top and all over the ground. The campground has several stray cats that are in need of medical treatment and neutering. They keep reproducing and there are stray kittens and cats everywhere. Some are sickly in appearance. The bathrooms are not maintained well. Often sink handles are gone, nothing to wash or dry hands with is present and plumbing not functioning properly. We would often lose water pressure at our site. Sometimes no water would come out at all, until we called to report the issue. Rates have increased, but no increase or upgrades in amenities were offered.

We left when we no longer felt our child was safe camping there, was threatened by an adult camping there and management refused to remedy the issue. We went there to relax and enjoy the peaceful country setting, but it quickly became super stressful and not enjoyable this past summer. We will not pay for that horrible of an experience and service. I will pay to camp somewhere else where the patrons receive a relaxing, safe camping environment and management handles campers that exhibit unsafe and...

We had a transformer on the electric line above our camper start dripping oil and smoking, an employee of the campground came over and stated he noticed this the week prior and knew it would become a problem. He notified me the electric company was on the way because he just called them and notified. They showed up and accidentally opened the transformer allowing all the oil to burst out and spray everything with oil. Our camper that was just waxed, brand new life jackets, kids shoes/clothes, easy up, awning, area rugs outside and my wife’s car. I went to the office Sunday morning and asked for a refund and the owner gave me a strange look and said no. She tried to explain it wasn’t her fault, I tried to explain you are running a business, this incident basically ruined our trip along with some of our things. Long story short, no refund no I’m sorry no nothing. In my opinion I strongly recommend staying somewhere else that takes better care of their facilities and customers. Lastly, in my opinion this place is ran like an anytime fitness gym where the lights are on and come on in but nobody is here to help or make your stay a memorable one. I have about 20 other things I could mention but...

Don't stay here if you want to be accused of stealing! While driving into the campground, we were greeted with a bunch of signs such as no boomboxes, no this, no that. After driving around the place looking for a spot to set up tent, we parked the car in front of the office trailer to sign paperwork and pay for the night. This car immediately pulls up behind me but I didn't think anything of it. Anyway, card got declined, so I went to the car to to transfer money on my phone so I don't have to use my other cards. Owner (old man) came over and started scolding us and then proceeded to scold the lady in the register office. He then came back and then kicked us out because we didn't park in the right spot and pointed out that the card got declined and accused us of trying to steal from him. He did all this while the poor employee was behind the counter watching him yell and go off at us. Ruined the whole camping trip...

I've stayed in a few other campgrounds near loudenville town center (Mohican) and didn't get treated...
