The young lady at the front desk was very friendly, led us to our site. There was a sign in the office indicating that the owner's husband was recovering from an injury, and they asked that guests not leave bad reviews because the park was not in good shape. We do wish him well in his recovery. We did see a young man with a KOA shirt working in the park. The park had issues.

Our site had several ruts. We are not in a small rig, not so easy to maneuver. We should have been assigned a more appropriate site. We avoided parking over one rut, but there were other ruts on the hookups side. In dry weather, that is not a big issue, however it rained the 3 nights we were there, and the ruts filled with water and mud. We contacted the front desk asking for someone to come place some gravel or even packed-down dirt in those ruts. (We had seen them do so for another rig that was in mud.) The front desk said she would contact the owner. We left to go see local attractions and when we returned, nothing had been done. The next morning as we unhooked, it rained again, the ruts had even more water and mud. The owner drove by and said she had stopped by the previous night but we weren't there, and she didn't think it looked that bad. We didn't receive a courtesy call checking with us. I informed her that we had just had to unhook in the water and mud, including the power cord. She shrugged and smiled. I asked why they couldn't use a couple of shovels from 2 mounds of gravel in the park, and she indicated that was for another project.

Beyond that, the park's amenities advertised on the website are not in working order. Pool was green, spa was closed, propane was not available. We hate to leave reviews like this, but you are not getting what is advertised, and that is unfair to consumers paying KOA rates. If repairs are done, it would be a nice, simple park to stay a few nights, but under these conditions, we do not...

We had a great stay at this campground. Very peaceful.

It offered so much more than what I expected for a small campground.

Easy access from highway (about 1 mile). Love’s gas station at the exit. Big Rig Friendly. We travel with a 35ft Fifth Wheel and had way more than enough space for the rig & truck. The campground store offers so much and is fully stocked with great items (even local beef by a local rancher in the freezer section). Because guests typically seek for snacks after campground store hours are closed, there are multiple vending machines in the laundry room, with more than just snacks & laundry supplies . You can find frozen meals and basic necessities. Bonus: change machine. They are continuously making improvements. During our stay we watched them add canopies over the pool’s sitting area. The pool is up and running. Dog Friendly for sure: Two dog parks (one large & one medium size) Very long Pet Walk area Poop bag/trash stations throughout (bags always stocked) Indoor Dog Washing Station: Supplied with Amazing water pressure (both cold/hot water), Shampoo, Conditioner, scrubbing brushing (multiple types), towels, dryer (with multiple settings), water proof apron and treats!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The prices are reasonable, the grounds were well kept, the bathrooms were clean and heated, the wifi worked great, and our son loved the playground. They also had a nice store and newly renovated game room, where we enjoyed hanging out and talking with the very friendly owners. They even made us fresh popcorn. Everyone on the staff there was super friendly and accommodating. There was also a nice laundry room, dog wash room, and dog park. The owners are relatively new, and said that they have put a lot of work into upgrading everything there, and it shows. The location is very easy to find and is not too far from the freeway. Even though we were supposed to leave by 11am today, they invited us to stay late to enjoy their open house party which had a taco truck and snow cone truck, and they gave us and free vouchers to use towards our lunch. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone who is looking for one in this area. We will definitely return if we go through...

Campground is welcoming, thanks to very nice managers and staff, lovely plants, bicycles everywhere (as decor), and a nicely set up gift shop with lots of local items & kitsch. Restrooms were better than adequate, clean, well supplied. Site itself was ok; no cable. Our site didn't have a picnic table but it rained both days so that was ok... We didn't request one. This is a fairly small campground so everything was easy to find. Nice TV room but it closes when the office does. Pool is nice & attractive; freestanding hot tub is oddly located but well tended & clean. Free coffee in the morning, but both days I tried it I had to dump it out it tasted so bad! Staff very knowledgeable about local events & activities.
