Located on 256 acres near Parthenon, AR. This 5800 sq ft living cavern, transformed into a high-end retreat, is the epitome of nature meets luxury. 4 bedroom and 4 bathrooms, including a honeymoon suite that is absolutely insane! 📍Beckham Creek Cave Lodge reached out to me recently about capturing their magnificent property. Wow, what an honor this is going to be!!! I had a preliminary tour this week just to check things out. So, this is just a little teaser 😱. This shot is part of the main honeymoon suite…OMG!! beckhamcreekcavelodge.com #cave #luxury #bucketlisttravel #uniquestays #weekendgetaway

This place is amazing! Up in the untouched beauty of the mountains you will find this gem, 4 beds 4 bath, big kitchen, giant round table great for games, living room area with big TV, waterfall and a bar. Also a cool overlook area with 2 smaller beds for kids with a spiral staircase. You get shown how to use the fancy remote thing that controls everything in the main area and they have the biggest couch ever. Gorgeous views and you can go and explore even more of the cave with a guided tour from the wonderful man who runs the place. I will now refer to him as The Man. ( feels bad i forgot his name, he and his wife were very easy to talk to and even though he doesnt linger or intrude we thoroughly enjoyed his company and conversation) if you want he will take you out to explore the beautiful land, it's on too many acres to see everything, has a pond stocked with some fish and a nice hammock area for everyone to relax outside. Price seemed shocking at first but it splits nicely with a group of friends. 9 of us stayed there and it was great. Some parts of the drive are a little steep but most of us had cars and they were fine making the trip. Rooms have heaters as it is slightly chilly but that should be expected in a cave. I turned ours on right before bed but would wake up hot and shut it off. Rest of the place warmed nicely with the geothermal heat. The men loved the temperature. I, a cold blooded lady brought slippers and a light sweater and was perfectly comfortable. Came with lots of extra blankets but we didn't use them. The showers get nice and hot and are tall for the 6ft folks. We saw vultures, armadillo, deer and squirrels. Inside the cave The Man showed us where the white almost clear salamanders hide! I, a big scaredy cat didn't climb high enough to see them. There was even a bit of plant life in the cave which was cool. Only saw 1 spider which made this Canadian happy, I thought there would be so many. Didn't see a single bug in the main cave where you live but we were quick when closing all the doors. It was fall when we went, lots of colors in the trees it was gorgeous. Arkansas roads are AMAZING so we had no trouble going and exploring other towns a few hours away. We flew into Memphis to add extra activities (giant bass pro pyramid, graceland and too much spicy fried chicken) it was about 4 hours away I think. You can fly into Little Rock which is closer and you can go see Hot Springs Arkansas it has the coolest old buildings and it's just stunning. I believe there is an amusement park nearby. If you're really rich and fancy they even have a helicopter pad at the cave, I definitely thought it was just for medical emergencies hahaha Felt safe and comfortable, it was very clean and well stocked with dishes, cookware and basics like paper towel, toilet paper, towels, pillows, blankets, coffee, cleaning supplies. We brought groceries and made almost all meals which was wonderful. It has a dishwasher and full laundry. 100% recommend no matter how...

I wanted to give myself a couple of days to write my review of this awesome location. A friend told us about it and we checked it out and decided to go. We own and operate our own RV park, so I preface this, that we understand scheduling and needs of incoming guests. We arrived around 5:30pm, Sunday Feb, 21st, just about dusk but light enough to see the small herd of deer in the valley. Nate and Randee, the caretakers met us at the driveway. They showed us in to a gorgeous cave home in the Ozarks. See pics I've added. I think Nate said it was around 6000 sq ft. It's a cliche to say you have to see it to believe it, but it's the best way too describe it. It is important to remember, this is a living cave. The rooms are large, 4 bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom, plus a loft with two twin beds. The showers in each room are surrounded by stalactites that are still forming and growing. There's a huge living room with tv, a very large dinner table, an indoor waterfall. The cave has a wetbar, a very well laid out kitchen with a six burner stove top. A chef, we had one with us as well as a few home cooks that are well adapted and we found the kitchen more than perfect to fit our needs plus. That's just the inside. Outside there is a large firepit. It was already stocked with wood. When we woke up the next morning, the view from the mountain into the valley reminded me much of what I'd seen in Peru. The valley, the small lake below, and the mountains before me were a wonder of nature. As if the cave, the nature and the beauty were not enough, then let me tell you about, our caretakers. Nate and Randee, two of the moat friendly people you will ever meet. They gave themselves over to fulfill every need we had. Nate gave us a personal tour of the unfinished cave, yes actual real cave. It was awesome to see bats within an arms length. There is a stream that travels below the floor of the cave and out near the entrance and large porch. We took Nate up on the 4x4 rides up into the mountains and an extended tour of the area. We saw sinkholes, an old Indian encampment, snow on the mountains and icicles and recently frozen waterfalls. We stayed from Sunday to Thursday, eight of us and I don't think anyone wanted to leave. Put this on your bucket list. I heard plenty of really special, important people have stayed at Beckham Creek Cave Lodge. And I'm one of them. I'm a regular person, no one special, but if you delight in sharing time with friends and being out and in nature, then you need to visit. A true...

One of the very best vacation experiences I've had. We booked for February 20-25, 2021. We wanted a winter getaway, and that's exactly what we got. I'm going to break my review into sections to be easier to read...||||I wasn't the one who did the booking, so I cannot comment on that part of the process. I also didn't do too much research of the place prior to arriving. I knew I wanted to be surprised. Needless to say, my expectations were exceeded greatly! Who can actually say they have stayed in a cave for 4 days? I can now.||||The Drive - for the last 30 minutes or so getting there from Texas was scenic up and down the Ozark mountains to the north and south of the little town of Jasper. Which only added to the mindset of being secluded in the mountains (a dream vacation for me).||||The Property - is beautiful in the winter as well as the summer as I've now seen on photos. Driving up the driveway is probably easier when there isn't snow - and potentially ice - as it is very steep. I found that detail of the stay to be a bonus part of the adventure. Exploring the different waterfalls and venturing out to see the big rock formations is fantastic. What's also great about that, is that you and your group are the only ones that are there. ||||The Cave - is truly awesome. I was pleasantly surprised that the raw cave was left where they could, but that didn't detract from the hominess. The drips from the ceiling was a really cool part of the experience. The home is well designed, but you can see that from the pictures. Beds were comfortable, the washer and dryer were an added bonus. Plenty of utensils and glasses for your use. I could go on, but you'll want for nothing.||||The Caretakers (and family) - were the best unexpected surprise. Nate, Randee, Aiden, & Venom(nickname), you guys are the real gem of the whole experience. It was so cool to see your passion for the property and humble attitudes when making sure our needs were met. If there was anything we needed they were there to help us. From giving us your time to take us on the ATV tour of the property - which was tremendous fun in the snow and mud. To taking us through the guided tour of the back of the cave where we got to see bats up close. Talking with you all and gaining friends was one of the highlights of the trip for me. Seeing how genuine you guys were and open about your vision for the property was...
