It’s so hard to believe that just 5 months ago, this entire property was residential. The BNB is so gorgeous! It’s a traditionally old build with great renovations that still keep the originality of the house. The inn accommodated 4 bedrooms worth of guests for my wedding! They raved about the place & the breakfast provided. They setup and catered our welcome evening which was magical on the patio by the bell house. I love how picturesque everything is. Kristen was the best inn keeper and venue planner. Old Furnace Inn has a keeper with her. Kristen was so easy and nice to work with, she really wanted to ensure everything was perfect for my day. She worked tirelessly for the inn guests and coordinating the barn setup. Our wedding was the first for the venue and it was amazing. The pink barn is unique and a big hit with the guests! It’s a shame they will be repainting it, but I know it will still be iconic. Nestled in the rolling hills and corn fields of Keezletown & Harrisonburg, it’s the perfect venue to feel away from people and noise yet it’s still conveniently close to town. The dance floor is stamped concrete that is gorgeous and centers the barn (definitely wear comfy shoes to dance the night away.) The owners are very welcoming and ensured everything was ready for the big day! They even rang the bell after our vows were said which was such a nice touch. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue! Gorgeous string lights decorated the barn, the flowers and linens tied everything together. Having a fire pit going and corn hole boards set up also ensured everyone had an amazing time. If you want a beautiful venue, to support amazing people and have a really personalized day, use Old Furnace Inn for all of your...
Read moreWe booked three rooms and had a getaway with my wife's family, the first time we've done that. The inn had recently opened and we expected some glitches along the way, but instead everything was simply perfect! The first night after checking in we went into town and found a restaurant that my MIL wanted to visit, and then the second day we had a nice drive around the valley, looking at all the farmland and scenery. The house is very quiet so sleep was deep, and then there is a Keurig coffee maker accessible 24/7 so I could sit on the porch in the morning and watch the day come to life while enjoying a hot cup of coffee, and then we were treated to a fabulous breakfast while enjoying the company of Kristin, the innkeeper. I can't think of a single way our visit could have been better, and I look forward to seeing all the added features in the months and years to come.
And we are talking about making our family visit an annual event! Our heartfelt thanks for a...
Read moreWow - what a gem we stumbled upon! Beautiful farm BnB. Just outside of the city for peace and relaxation, but close enough to everything. We stayed 3 nights. The room was beautiful and clean, with a comfortable king bed and large modern bathroom. The breakfasts were outstanding! Something different each day. The best part? The host - Kristin. She made the trip. Very friendly - a joy to chat with and get a history of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her. She also makes a mean breakfast! We will definitely be back - I just hope there is room - once word gets out about this...
