Big Oak Meadows — Hotel in Hartford Township

We used this venue for our daughters 2024 High School Graduation party and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! The hall size was the exact fit for the size of our party. We had planned for a maximum of about 75 people to attend and ended up with about 50-55. The room never felt overcrowded or crammed at all. Noelle was fantastic from the time we booked until the day of the event. She answered all of my questions and even allowed us back in about 2 weeks prior for final measurements and to see the space again so we could plan for decorations and set up. The space was clean and tidy when we got there with all of the tables and chairs in place so we could set up all of the decorations and food with ease.

Cleanup was a breeze with a small list of end of use requirements that were nicely posted on the fridge. There are plenty of utensils and catering equipment there for you to use if you rent the hall. We didn't have to haul trash anywhere or take it with us. They took care of all of it and even provided the trash bags.

For those looking to rent: We were able to fit 3 large electric roasters, 2 large metal sterno pans, a couple of trays for bread, and all the plates/utensils on the buffet counter. The tables are 72 in long each and about 30 inches wide. I was able to cover 11 tables total (the 8 tables for guests, card table, small table at end of buffet counter, and cake/cupcake table) with a 40 inch by 100ft roll of white table cover that I purchased at a party supply store. (I did have a little left over.) The smaller table at the end of the buffet counter is sturdy enough for drinks, but we used it for the cold salads and condiments. We had our drinks inside coolers in front of the fireplace which worked out great.

There is also a beautifully decorated enclosed patio off the main room (no food/drink allowed in it) but it provides a wonderful spot to kick up your feet for a few minutes and relax. A few of our older guests enjoyed the comforts for a good portion of our party.

If you are looking for not only a beautiful hall but great property, you need to check out Big Oak Meadows! When I say this is the perfect place to have a wedding, that is an understatement. From our first tour, the venue and people felt like home. The owners themselves, Noelle and Nate, took my fiancé, myself, and my parents on our first tour of the place. The outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous out in the pines. The barn is beautiful inside and was perfect for our needs. After we booked with them, they assigned us a wedding coordinator that would be with us every step up the way. Our coordinators were incredible and were always so patient as we navigated what we wanted for our big day. We had 2 walkthroughs with our coordinators before the wedding where we went through every detail of the day. They eased all of our worries and made us feel so comfortable. The week of the wedding, they contacted all of our vendors and worked out all the details with them so we didn't have to. On the wedding day, the owners and coordinators and other staff were there all day working hard to make everything go smoothly. They truly went above and beyond for us. All of our guests are still complimenting us on the venue and the workers. They all say how the day couldn't have been more perfect and they are recommending the venue to their friends. Big Oak Meadows is amazing!!!! As a photographer, I've been to many, many wedding venues, and as a vendor, you really get to see the hearts of the people who work there. I would recommend Big Oak Meadows so highly for the way that they take care of their couples, and make sure everything runs smoothly and is as stress-free as possible!! Ali (their coordinator) did an incredible job getting in touch beforehand, making sure that I was kept in the loop and had as much information as I needed, and even offered a golf cart tour so that we could find the best photo spots! Though we didn't have to use them, they even had several clear umbrellas tucked away, too, in case of rain.
